Tissot Couturier Automatic Review

Feeling in a more "dress watch mood", I picked up what appeared to be a very handsome Tissot automatic. It employs the controversial Powermatic 80 movement, a derivative of the tried and true ETA 2824-2.
This Tissot Couturier (reference T035407A) features day and date with sapphire crystal and 100m WR. Picking it up on Amazon Warehouse Deals made this Swiss dress watch a little less difficult on my affordables-level budget.
How does it stack up? Is it worth the investment? To find out, you'll have to Watch It!

Nice! Tissot is a good entry-level Swiss brand. A good dress watch to be sure.

how did you get the strap off? I want to put a new strap on the watch because i purchased it secondhand but i can't seem to get it off.

I didn't have any problem getting it off. The strap fits in tightly so you have to manipulate the springbar pin with a tool and pull the strap away from the case at the same time.

Mine is -8 seconds a day.

It is a fine gold titanium plating.
