Love those .25 cent records ! Have 4 stores still that... when they get them, which is rare, yes ! .25 cents ! Alright.. we're in the front door. let's see what we find..
There's one store I haven't been to in a couple years that has ten cent records. I never found anything very good there...but someday, someone is going to get very lucky there!
Another store (Salvation Army) in the same town used to put all there records back in their clearance corner where it was "fill a bag for a dollar!" I've hit big there! GnR Lies, GnR picture disc, Loudness, multiple og surf albums...
I love people who love music collect physical media I'm the exact the same way I collect cds, cassette tapes and vinyls too I just subscribe to your RUclips channel I actually love your videos going to record stores lost and I spots like thrift stores flea markets and goodwill as well used book stores I love too vintage vinyl hunter keep up the great job I'm continue to support your channel im definitely going to your past videos peace ✌ keep digging alive and well and let's continue to support our music record stores, used book stores and our lost in found spots as well too keep searching for music alive because it's fun
Thank you Antwan!!! I'm like you, i collect all formats: CDs, cassettes, vinyl...and also 8-tracks and reel-to-reel tapes! I'm glad you found your way here.
@@VinylHunter oh that's great reel to reel and 8 tracks tapes that's way before my time I born in 1982 I was 3 years old when I first saw a 8 track tape at that time that format was about to go out of style that's where cds was coming in slowly . Reel to reel tapes way later in early 2010 first time seeing those I was 28 or 29 years old that's great collecting those true collectors always digg
Wow Finding a Pavlov's Dog album in a thrift store is the sort of find that would cause me to pass out. The last time I saw that record was at a pop-up and the guy wanted $35 for it. They are a well respected band in the prog community. Excellent find.
I could have bought their album with the dog on the cover yesterday...but it was $20... and i haven't got to listen to them yet, so i wasn't prepared to spend $20 on them....Probably should have though.
dude, that Pavlov's Dog is a hell of a find. its crazy, i was just in Columbus yesterday for a wedding. never been out that way before. Goodwill is kinda hit or miss no matter which one you go to. I was at the one near 90th and 370 the other day. If you want every Barry Manilow or Barbara Streisand album they got you coverd. hahahaha
I'm originally from Kansas. It looks like you are in a great part of the country for this. My store here in Northern CA has free records. Then they go to goodwill so thrifting here is hard work.
Really!!! I just went to a record store yesterday. They had the Pavlov's Dog record with a dog on the cover, but they wanted $20 for it. I don't know if that was a good deal or not, but i haven't got to listen to them yet...so...wasn't ready to spend that kind of money on them yet.
Tuco !!! Awesome video my friend. I look forward to your videos.Keep up the great job and keep these awesome videos a coming! Thank you for all the hard work you do to bring us these awesome videos! Have a great weekend my friend. 🙂🙂👍👍✌️❤️
Thank you Alan! My weekend is starting to get better...I've been super sick for a couple days...luckily i was able to muster up enough energy to finish my video this morning! I'm starting to feel better now though.
Hi Tuco!! well it wasn't that bad after all, you got a very cool record for $0.25 cent..... let's hope next time you will get those records you left at the store!! cheers and be well
Pavlov dog is pretty Decent. The vocals are along the line of Budgie or Rush but the music not as heavy. I half expected to see you walking out with the globe after cutting away saying you don't need any more big stuff 😜
6:39 That RCA 'Fiddle-Faddle' record is great featuring Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops playing the music of Leroy Anderson with memorable tunes like 'Blue Tango', 'The Syncopated Clock', etc.
Hey Tuco. Enjoying your journeys. I would have picked up that McKendree Spring album from the first place you hit. I have their first album and it’s pretty good. Happy hunting.
Dang! I was just wondering about them yesterday! I saw two of their records at a record store!!! I need to listen to them on youtube so I'm more prepared next time!
Good scores! I just saw Chariots Of Fire LP the other day, but i passed because i already have it. I've got a handful of Vangelis, and I've got Aphrodite's Child 666 (on Vertigo swirl label!). I need more Aphrodite's Child!
Some days you hit the jackpot and some days you don't. I hit a bunch of garage sales yesterday and today. Grabbed 17 $1 CDs yesterday at one sale. Most were blues stuff like Walter Trout and Jimmy Thackery. Today I got 3 John Cougar's on vinyl for a grand total of $4 (not a huge fan but what the heck). I probably hit 30 garage sales just to find what I got. Luckily most were close together. There are a million garage sales going on this week.
My brother and I are going to Seward in the morning for the grand opening of a record store. It's funny because I've been covering it for a while now, but none of the videos have aired yet.(I really hope to someday get the videos caught up to present day) I'm in Seward every morning, so i stop by and peek in the window and follow the progress. Then we're gonna hit Lincoln!
You might not know that old commercial that used to be on TV back in the old days for Tareyton cigarettes on that Duane Eddy record that was all written on. Old commercial I'd rather fight than switch. It might be on RUclips if you wanted to see it.
Ha! They ARE on youtube! I don't remember the commercial. I'm so kicking myself for not grabbing that record! If its still there next time i go I'm grabbing it! It'll be framed and hung on my wall!
You could take all the religious and orchestra albums out of the nation’s thrift stores, garage sales and swap meets, place them end to end, and they would stretch tip of California to the tip of Maine.
No Way !! Pavlovs Dog.. unreal ! This is the real wild dude.. now we're talking ! Well.. this one alone was worth it ! Cheers Tuco..

Yes, getting outside the city and digging in the less populated rural areas works much better for me!
Pavlov’s dog album has William Bruford on it from yes

Yeah! A lot of Pavlov's Dog music sounds kinda like Rush!
25 cents a record?? Can’t beat that!
That's pretty much the same thing as Free!!!
You know it’s a Good Friday when the RUclips’s loaded and the beers are flowin. Thanks for providing the entertainment man!
Thanks Justin! I'm glad you're digging it!
LIKE number 4 and enjoying this hunt for sure. :)

@@VinylHunter I'll be waiting for you! Did I mention that I also have thousands of CDs?
4:25 Another subgenre of records I collect are stereo test and stereo demonstration records like that 'This is Dynagroove' record.. :)
Me too! I've got a bunch of them!
Happy Friday Tuco! Thanks for the video. That globe was a tough call at $5.
Yeah! Maybe i should have grabbed it so I'd know where I'm at!
Pavlov dog is pretty Decent. The vocals are along the line of Budgie or Rush but the music not as heavy.

I was eyeing it because it's a "looker"...I'll have to youtube and give it a listen! I've seen it a lot.

Duane Eddy record his face is like a cross between the misfits (Jerry Only)
and Elvis Presley
Totally looks like that!!!
I can watch cc while spinning on mute and know what you will pick. Lol. The one one's I know you like and you pass I figure you have.

We should make that happen someday! SecondHands Across America!!!
I'm gonna check the 3/$1 albums again and post some of the terrible results. Maybe I can art with them. Adam the Woo was recently at that Wagon!
At those prices you can easily find stuff to make collages!
They turned Duanne Eddy into Jerry Reed
I'm kicking myself for not buying it! It's a work of art, suitable for framing!
Well he is a Rebel Rouser
Pavlovs dog other lp is better... the one with the dog on it.
I'll keep an eye out for it! I'd heard the name but am unfamiliar with their catalog.
