Imagine if this was a kid's first LJN game, and its excellence made the kid hunt down every other LJN movie/comic based game. Boy, would he be disappointed...
My first LJN game was Super Wrestlemania...and I loved it. Then Royal Rumble, Raw is War and Maximum Carnage. I never played the NES games...glad I didnt.
If a Spider-Man vs Carnage movie was ever made... I'd be VERY disappointed if the Mob Rules didn't appear considering how awesome it was when I heard this playing the 1st boss fight in the game!
I played this game for the first time today on my laptop-online emulated site, and it was FUN!! the whole thing feels like a bar fight taken to the streets!!!! I'm almost a Adult and i never played THIS!!
- Spider Man was never as cool as he was in this era. The entire Maximum Carnage soundtrack was pretty bad ass but this was the icing on the cake, Black Sabbath The Mob Rules remade for the SNES to top off a whole bunch of awesome boss battles...and how cool was that red cartridge? -
Yeah with the 90s cartooon to help put spiderman on the map in the early 90's... it was a great time to be alive. Always LOVED the carnage storylines in spiderman.
The Nerd: And what do I hear? ("The Mob Rules" by Black Sabbath plays) It's The Mob Rules by Black Sabbath! I don't mean it just sounds similar, it's the same song! Just a 16-bit rendition. It even does the solo! (16-bit rendition of Black Sabbath's "The Mob Rules" solo plays) I think it was just a rip-off, and that they never got Black Sabbath's permission, but it's still welcome to hear and adds to this game's enjoy-ability.
I would love to see this game remade using modern video game design and graphics. Just pure 90s spiderman in all its glory. Spiderman was never quite as cool as he was in the 90s. I always hang on to this era, hoping waiting for someone to make something in this style. This is quintessential adrenaline in a jugular vein.
This would be fucking awesome if it sounded like this for the actual Black sabbath album. Let alone a Game made for a SNES Soundchip that although Advanced for the time, was still limited.
they should adapt either this or the separation anxiety comic/game to the mcu/sony cinematic. although with the life foundation in the venom money we may get something close
Woody Harrelson apparently has a small role in Venom, with him being much more important in the next film. That makes me think he'll be playing Cletus Kasady, who'll probably turn into Carnage in the stinger of the first film. That means we could potentially have something similar to Maximum Carnage for the next film (although presumably without Spidey).
Goku have a good character development in all the manga, you can apply the same thing for him just for how Super treat his personality, or you can be the guy who just say "DB is a shitty anime XDD". Both of them are good options
Fok Julle Naaiers i was talking about how as Dragonball progressed, Goku devolved from a pretty serious, pretty smart character to a downright idiot who just happens to be overpowered. Dragonball isn’t bad, but they screwed up Goku, especially in Super. And Spiderman was never really known for being a serious character, he’s always been more lighthearted and humorous, as most marvel heroes are
THEY DID IT, THEY MADE A GAME THAT'S NOT SHIT, IT'S NOT SHIIIIIIIIIIIT. Love how this song is literally just the Mob Rules. Though like James Rolf said I don't think Black Sabbath signed off on it. Would have been even more epic if they did. Especially if they digitized Dio's voice.
I wish this song would appear in civil war edit from 6 years later lol: would've asked for this in let there be carnage but im sad they didnt add it in :(

If they didnt, they can kiss my ass. Remember how they butchered the Back To The Future soundtrack on NES because they didnt have the rights? So they have to fuck with Power of Love but they blast The Mob Rules? I'm not complaining about Mob Rules but still
Do you think Black Sabbath would even care anyway? If anything, it gets people who haven’t heard their music curious enough to listen to their stuff. And besides, it’s a 16 bit rendition so it won’t take away their sales.
Yeah Seperation Anxiety was awesome for that co-op gameplay but the soundtrack was definitely a step down from the Maximum Carnage soundtrack. The Music in this game was just amazing!
And... what do we have here??? IT'S THE MOB RULES BY BLACK SABBATH!!!!
It even does the solo! 0:40
