    the watercooler hoses when the radiator is mounted at the front, it is better for the pump in the matter of service life, leave the pump and go up to the radiator and not go down to the bottom of the radiator, the hoses going to the bottom of the radiator leaves the accumulation of air from the closed system in the pump (the air always goes to the top)

    • @A2KMedia
      @A2KMedia  2 года назад +8

      not exactly, as long as pump is below the top of the radiator it is ok, the air will be trapped at the top of the radiator rather than pump.

      @@A2KMedia Yeah but why not just rule that out completely and have no air, i mean theres always gonna be a little bit, but i prefer my rad up top so i know them hose openings are always gonna have liquid running through them then im cool with that, i m sure there is videos out there showing there is no difference but peace of mind, in my own head i guess...

    Good video but my only issue here is the Ryujin II is mounted incorrectly with the tubes up top and will show people incorrect installation procedure.

      yes pls this is sad, this video shows how to incorrectly mount the Ryujin. 😆

    • @Murph9000
      @Murph9000 2 года назад +2

      It doesn't matter, tubes up is just fine. The GN video on the subject is widely misinterpreted. The important thing is to have the pump block below the top of the radiator. The installation shown here achieved that, so any air will gather in the radiator just the same as if it was tubes down.
      The only potentially bad configuration is if the pump is the highest part of the loop.

    • @iamdecedent
      @iamdecedent 2 года назад

      @@Murph9000 They literally did a breakdown cutting one apart and verifying it recently. So it's not misinterpreted.

    • @Murph9000
      @Murph9000 2 года назад +1

      @@iamdecedent No, that's not the correct conclusion. Both Steve from GN and Jayztwocents have debunked the tubes up is bad myth. The problem is ONLY if the pump is the highest point in the loop, allowing air to gather there (and the resulting cavitation). If any part of the radiator is higher, such as tubes up with the radiator at the top of the front panel, it's perfectly ok. Air will always find its way to the highest point and collect there.
