      Danke Dir, Steve! 😀 Grundhaft eigentlich nicht sooo schwer, aber auf meiner Akustikgitarre, mit 12-53er Saiten und die komplette Aufnahme am Stück in einem Take... das war schon eine ganz schöne Herausforderung... Fingerbrecher-Song eben! 😅

      Hey thanks for the nice feedback, I really like reading that! 😊 I can only play the song once a day with this intensity, otherwise my fingers would fall off... because of the thick strings on the acoustic guitar! 😝😅

    Absolutely Awesome brother! How old were you when you first picked up a guitar?

    • @AndreasGeffarth
      @AndreasGeffarth  Год назад +2

      Thank you for the compliment! 😊 I started playing the guitar quite late, when I was almost 17 years old. Right after that I bought my first guitar, a very simple electric guitar made in GDR. 🤪 On this guitar, however, I started practicing everything that I enjoyed and liked. Including songs and guitar solos from the Beatles to Led Zeppelin, from Dire Straits to Queen or from Gary Moore to Santana. I was the lead guitarist in my first band and of course I also played „Sultans of Swing“ by Dire Straits. In the early to mid 90's I switched mainly to acoustic guitar. At some point I finally tried to transfer „Sultans of Swing“ to the acoustic guitar in a kind of own version. And the video shows this version, so to speak, including some loops and extra guitar solos. But I recorded the entire video in one piece and uncut. I was only able to play it once because my hand hurt so bad afterwards! No wonder! 😅

      @@AndreasGeffarth Excellent guitar accompaniments: Andreas should be LOANING that LITTLE guitar to Judy Collins for her concerts! She struggles through and behind a HUGE guitar, that's definitely not needed and has all of electronics to get the "acoustics " right anyway; Makes it hard for her...In fact, I, myself, would like to find one that size making sure it has an Ibanez narrow fingerboard, so I don't have to bother with capos!
      "I Fall to Pieces With a Touch of Class" and
      "Time That You're Movin' on!"

      Hey Lynda! 😀 The small guitar is a so-called Papoose from Tacoma, USA. The company itself no longer exists, but various models of the Tacoma Papoose are occasionally offered on eBay or Reverb. Maybe that would be something for Judy Collins!? 🤓 My Papoose model is a P6KK for solid Koa. The (Dixie) Chicks frontwoman Natalie Maines also owns one; can be seen in some songs, for example in the concert video "An Evening With The Dixie Chicks". Kind regards, Andreas 🙋🏽‍♂️

    Eine abartig groovige Coverversion! Der Mix / Hall vom Gesang passt für meinen Geschmack nicht optimal zur Gittare.

    • @AndreasGeffarth
      @AndreasGeffarth  2 года назад

      Danke, lieber Herbert! 😀 Das mit dem Hall ist natürlich Geschmackssache, könnte aber auch daran liegen, dass ich das Ganze nur mit einem kleinen Shure MV88 Stereo-Mikrofon aufnehme, welches in meinem iPhone (mit dem ich das Bild aufnehme) steckt!? Zu hören ist also ein Mix aus Raumklang und Signal vom Amp, über den ich meine Gitarre spiele und in dem auch mein Gesangsmikrofon steckt. 🤓 Technisch bin ich da sicherlich nicht optimal ausgerüstet, aber das kann ja noch werden. Ich habe ja vor kurzem auch erst angefangen, solche Videos zu drehen. Aber natürlich bin ich auch froh, konstruktives Feedback zu bekommen! Denn nur so kann ich ja daran arbeiten, nach und nach besser zu werden… oder zumindest besser zu klingen! 😄 Liebe Grüße und danke noch mal für das groovige Kompliment! 👍🏼😊
