I learned about Shpongle in 2020 (after their last full band performance) and they quickly became my all time favorite music.
I held off watching any video of their performances, hoping I would get the chance to see them live. And I did, at this show.
Holy hell was it worth it.
What still blows my mind is that this wasn't part of a 50 city tour. This performance was just put together for a pair of shows, halfway across the world from where Simon lives.
My all time favorite musical artist puts on this show an hour from my house, after supposedly retiring. I felt like the luckiest person alive.
Thank you Simon! I have a completely different view of what music can be, because of you.

The more he grows older the more magical and complete his sets are. I am not sure we are going to see another artist like him ever. Pure audio alchemy!
I highly recommend you catch Ott while he is touring, him and tipper are the only 2 on simon's level imo

In my opinion Tipper is in his own league. Completely different sound. He's tiphop. Simon is clearly goa trance/psybient. Ott and Simon are about the same subgenres and I agree that Simon is a bit more talented. As for the best across all electronic music? Well that's very subjective, but every single person I've introduced to Daft Punk has vibed with it. Even my bible thumpin grandma. Infected Mushroom is at the top of their subgenre as well. All artists mentioned are amazing live

I never thought I'd watch Shpongle Live. But that day in colorado, on my god!! This video can only show the glimpse of what happend. But the sound felt really different, there was an entire vide in that area. I could feel the bass touching me. Glad I am able to watch this again. Thank you.
Bar none, the most creatively GENIUS musical artwork I've ever come across. Over any genre. It's not just psychedelic. Shpongle is truly fearless to get as weird as possible in the most tasteful possible manner. I think they started in the 90s? And they're STILL ahead of their time. Amen. Take notes normies
