Our God can be trusted--no matter what!
No doubt about it
The miracle of the Bible, those who try to find excuses to reject God will find it, those who seek God with a pure heart will find Him in the same book, then the real miracle start, God using this very same book to teach and guide us through His promised Spirit in us, revealing layers of information never seen before...
We must believe that the words that God told us to use to test everything we hear to find the truth, would be protected. God does not lie!

How many times has the book of Mormon been changed in less than 300 years compared to the written Christian Bible?
What matters is the true and simple Gospel. We are saved by faith alone in Christ alone through the grace of God alone.
There is enough to believe and enough not to believe. But true faith comes supernaturally from God.
There are those outside the gospel writers that verify it. So this is not a game of telephone line.
Holy tradition comes through with the clutch again!
The Bible hasn’t been corrupted at all. We have ancient texts in many languages including the Dead Sea scrolls
They can go check the Bible that is from 4th / 5th century that still exist.
Doctrines of demons
The Bible is not corrupted!
God the father sent his son Jesus Christ to die and be a sacrifice for the sins of the world. Whoever does not accept and believe in Jesus Christ will go to eternal punishment and after death there is NO second chance.
Sure, your principles apply to the New Testament but they don't really don't apply to the Old Testament. There's no similar "chain of custody." And there's significant differences between the Hebrew Bible and the Septuagint. You have to use much different evidence to infer the antiquity, authorship, and authenticity of those books.
Why should this principle apply to the Old Testament?
Thing is people don't want the Bible to be what it is. People need to understand that the Bible was not written to us but for us. These writers didn't have a clue that people in the 21st century would be reading what they wrote, they had an immediate audience the people of their time and if this is the case we have to historically probe what the skeptics of their time were responding to the claims being made. Also if in our day and error we are very strict in making sure that what being presented is truth, what makes people think that this was not the same in their time.
e.g the Bible contains the names of people (prominent people) places and public events. Let us use the case of Ciaphas the High Priest. Even if the complete cannon of the gospels were not written during his time, his encounter with Jesus was a well known event. Have we ever stopped to think that maybe his family or his friends some of whom could have been available at that time and still working in the Sanhedrin came across what was being believed by Christians as History concerning the trial of Jesus? If that event didn't happen as it were recorded in the Gospels why didn't anyone refute it? Why don't we have counter-arguments dated at the same time as the writings of the Gospels? Furthermore Christians were not a feared group, a mighty group for that matter it could have been easily refutted and substantial counter-evidence provided for that matter.
If people were to read the Bible as it being written to a specific audience not us and that audience had every right and the sanity to refute what was being written to them as falsehood for they were part of that history as well then they would realise how amazingly astounding the Bible is.
Go and probe the statement of Paul in the the passage found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-6... his immediate audience is the people of Corinth, he is actually telling them that "hey guess what guys, if you still don't believe me go and question the survivors." How astounding can this be if there weren't actual people who witnessed the event that he tells them to investigate? Also what would be the motive for this people to lie if it always got them into trouble, with their own people and the ruling powers of their time. It's not like they had sinister motives like, "let us put this hear and because this thing will continue to the 21st century everyone who could have refuted us would be dead by this time and so the people of that time would be foolish enough to believe us."
I encourage you to look up the dead sea scrolls
An uncorrupted Bible still exists. It’s called the King James Bible. Fact.
👍. While I'm not KJ Only, I am KJ Priority. I prefer the term, and maybe some KJ Only people are more like me, but I know that some are literally KJO. My KJ Priority means that I believe that the KJV is the most trustworthy Bible in English, probably the only fully trustworthy one, but I utilise other versions to help me in my reading. These will preferably still be BYZANTINE-based, so MEV, etc. But I let the KJV have the final say, if im genuinely trying to learn. For close study, I'm on my KJV with Strong's concordance. But I'd be lying if I said I never struggle with the KJV. So yeah: I'm KJV Priority (usually for the same foundational reasons that people are KJ Only). Maybe the purists - perhaps you are one - would see me as compromising too much! 😊 God speed 🙏
PS - to anyone on the fence, one very good reason for reading the KJV is that, in modern translations, the difference between "you" and "you" isn't always obvious from context 😉
No.
