@@christiancamlin13 I was 7 when I saw The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show . So it was really something to me to see a Beatle in Concert . But your old enough to remember the 70's and that is something.
Greetings from Arkansas USA I had turned 14 yres of age right before Jimmy had passed away...what a shame...he was and is a legendary guitarist his Brother Jack a drummer looked similar....gorgeous man both inside and out RIP JIMMY
Listening to someones music won't make you a great writer any more than smelling Gasoline makes you a mechanic. You have to perform and write until you see and feel how to do it on your own. Because you can see what they did to make their songs better so that you can use them if something you write requires it. Some artists never get there most are lucky to have 1 good song they wrote. And hundreds never make anything other than ordinary stuff that has been done before. McCartney did things his own way. He was an original as a singer and a bass player. And yes he was the showman of the group who absorbed thed spirit of Rock from Chuck Berry , Little Richard and Elvis before he was 15. John Was the moody contemplative Intellectual of the group. Paul was the guy who made the band fun. Some people seem to just know the right thing to do every Moment. That was Paul.He was a good foil to John and Georges headier stuff. Paul and Ringo were the Rhythm section guys who kept the train running. Didn't let things get too wild. His compositions are Amazing but you could spend 2 lifetimes figuring out what he did right. You just have to give it your all learn everything relevant to what you are doing and hope that God gave you the gift. I love 90% of what Paul did but when I write I can be the best me or a 2nd rate Paul or John. The Beatles and Wings were great but neither group is my favorite. I just try to learn and work different ideas together in new ways. I'm not Paul We don't need more Pauls. We need more songwriters of Paul's Caliber.
Was only 4yrs old when this amazing man and wings of course made my love for music and today this is still my favourite band ever ❤ wish there was a time machine!!
Simply incredibly, musicly, spiritually, lovingly, happily, wonderfully, skillfully totally thankfully received by ears which will forever be thankful for you and your music. You and maybe 9 other singers are in an elite class of your own,
Ohhhh! Yessss!! I have been looking for this concert forever! I saw the entire two plus hours on TV back in 1987 and it really blew my mind!! Paul McCartney was never better than when he was in "Wings"!! The show in its entirety was incredible to watch and to hear! He was a beautiful and talented man here. Still is.... Rock on Paul;!!"🎶🎶🎶🎶
*What a Class Act, Giving a Shout out to Canadians. I've been to shows in the USA less than 2 hours from the border and never heard any other bands do that. Thanks Paul*👍😎
He always comes out on stage at the end of the show's carry the British flag and whatever country is hosting them. Plus i've seen other flags representing various causes. He's a true class act!
Pandemic aside these clips show the difference between the live experience then and that of today. For one thing ,half of the smoke was produced by the audience. I didn't smoke a ton of weed but it added to the Concert just like the whiff of cigars and beer added to a baseball game. There was more spontaneity, energy and MFing intensity. How many kids do you hear say " I wish I was growing up in the 70's"? Tons. I never wished I grew up in the 20's-50's. We were lucky kids . I've seen crowds leaving Garden (Boston) Concerts and I couldn't tell if they just saw a live Concert or if they just took their S.A.T.s. No Joke. Maybe it's for the better. I dunno.
You're 100% right no comparison to the shows the rock concerts of the seventies and the eighties compared to the ones of to day I'm 59 years old I can't tell you how many times young people in their twenties and thirties have said to me They wish they could have lived their teenage years in the seventies or eighties and I tell Them you're right I am lucky.
And not just live concerts. When we went out, we had at least one good live band available to dance to 5 nights a week--and this was in a small town of 20,000.
15:41, Good sound capture of Joe English's cymbal ride...! 18:20, Very rare to see Jimmy McCulloch playing bass ... besides being a good guitarist he was also a good bass player ...!
Entre las esposas de los Beatles que acompañaron a sus maridos en concierto Linda es un sueño 😍😍 una voz linda y para nada invasiva en escena. Nada que ver con Yoko 😬
With all due respect for Beatles fans the more we listen and the more we realize that the real pillar of this group were Harrisson & Lennon by the depth of their music
Kakakaka. And Paul wrote yesterday, maybe I am amazed, Hey Jude, Let be , she is just 16, and wrote early half the Lennon’s songs. Stop drink the kool aid
There will never be another Paul.
There will never be another.
I was lucky .I saw them in 76 . Great Show!!
So Jealous but I was 11.

Linda was an amazing back up singer...miss her!!
... and keyboard player!
Hahaha
All budding songwriters should listen to Macca's songs over and over until it sinks in. This is how great songs are written.
I agree with ya. There's other ways too. No doubt this cat had a great cookbook!✌

My kind of music brilliant
Had the pleasure of seeing Wings in concert at the Kingdome in Seattle, June 10, 1976. Pure magic.
This song was one of my first introductions to the world of magic.

I was a massive fan of Wings in the day, but never went to see them live as I was a bit young. This is great to see and hear what I missed.

Grande Paul genio maestro
Какой внутренний восторг от Твоих произведений!... не передать...!
WOW! The beggining of this version of Bluebird sounds a lot like the beggining of "Heaven On A Sunday", from Flaming Pie (1997)
Love that song, too!
