Hi TCW, I'm pretty experienced in this game and I can barely keep up with what you are saying. Early game isn't too complicated nowdays. Finish tutorial, Go to Winding and float for bleak/dace with the start float rod + tiny hook + maggots/casters. The money/XP is decent and you can save for Feeder kits. With feeder kits you can go to the current active donets ruffe spot from late evening, tiny hooks+ redworm and start saving some money. Once you have a set of 3 feeder kits you can get on to bream and start levelling and learning about groundbait and bait harvesting skills. If you then want to get started on spin fishing, you can go to Belaya and learn to put your first combo together, a Corona S60ML and whichever 3000 size reel you want/can afford and you can learn how to fight fish. Then you're saving for HSV either for carp or for trolling Kouri..... That's a tried and tested progression that hits all skills at relevant times with appropriate gear, gives you a way to always have something to go do and doesn't waste money.
@@Megalodon89 yeah it's actually recommended to play free until at least lvl 25, then you can decide if you want to progress a bit more quickly, doesn't help you get better fish or more money though.
@@brendo7363thank you for ansering that quickly. i wonder if there is a spreadsheet or something for progression? otherwise i try to stick with your recommandation.
in a complete beginners guide level 1 - 20, you can forget about carp rods and look at feeder rods. You unlock carp rods at 60% ground fishing skills which comes just as you approach level 20.
im level 8, using everything you mentioned. Heavy s70h, element 4000, spiker #2 and cheapest braided line. But my lurespeed and cast distance & the fishes i got are terrible.. Is it outdated or it doesnt work in winding rivulet?
That rod and reel won’t cast far as it’s a beginning rod / reel, UL rods with UL reels cast way further then regular spinning rods and reels, you’ll get familiar, this game takes a lot of patience and time. Keep it up! 💪
How does weekly records work? Do you get rewards for being in top 5 for a certain fish? I'm currently 3rd for biggest chub so I'm super curious to see if I would get a reward for that
Theres global weekly records and region records, the only way to get a silver reward is to catch the biggest global weekly fish so as long as your chub is the biggest caught globally and stays the biggest fish caught by Sunday you will win, only global records you will get prizes, region records are more for bragging rights.
yo, on baitcasting, im planning to buy 2 steelness for arhi and use it later on sea, is it worth it for arhi? i know it has 80+ mech weight and i want to know how good it is compared to the hsv
Sorry to say, but this (not-) guide is a mess. You basicly skip all relevant stuff for real beginners. Most of the stuff you talk about is around mid-level for an account, which got somehow stuck and doesnt know, how to progress further. There are also tips that are misleading or even faulty to beginn with. As an example you recommend the small hornet and spiker spinners but none of your recommernded beginners spinning rods matches the casting weight of those spinners. (Linear S86ML is the best buy for this since you can use reels with a 3000 spool with it, which gives beginners a little extra capacity on the line.) To make those spinners work better at Belaya you need extra casting range. Either from putting skillpoints into spinning reels or spinning rods. Most ppl use and recommend putting them into spinning reels first, simply becoure bottom fishing and /later) float fishing does use those reels too.
The reason a lot of it seems to be misleading is because I talked about how I got from level 1-42 in 7 months on how I personally progressed, I progressed not the way the game intended me to, a lot of things I said isn’t by the book of the game as I did everything my own way and it worked really good, everything I mentioned is what I exactly did to get from level 1-42 in 7 months. My sea setups aren’t what the game sais to do, I over weight the rod and reel most times and had 0 issues caught 100kg fish no problem, the bottom feeders I use different methods then anyone else would do. Everything works the way I said in the video, if the video is misleading then how did I get from level 1-42 in just 7 months… if you play by the book your gonna get here way slower. I have 6000 hours on the game and I spent 800 hours at kuori & belaya I know what tricks work and what doesn’t work. If you want to cast further at belaya you need an ultra light setup or get the 100% spin skill to cast further. I also bet not to many people have got from level 1-42 in just 7 months.
@@thecanadianway1999 Thats not the point. You labeled the video as a 'complete beginners guide'. Personally I hardly would call it a guide. It simply lacks structure. By no way is it a complete guide nor is it a beginners guide. And it is absolutely not a guide a for a complete beginner. I do understand that it takes a lot of time and effort to make such a video and I appreciate the effort. But it is really difficult to somehow follow what you are talking about even when you already know most of the basics of the game.
Beginner guide.. yet a rig will cost you over 2.5K. Someone has forgotten the insane grind that is level 1 to 10. If you want to explain.. make a 2nd character and show from there and go through the hard times of saving up even 200 silver (that is without help from others.. making food, buying replacements etc). This video is utter crap for beginners

Hey btw on lower tunguska fishing for taimen i got bit off prob by a pike with a 60kg flouro leader
famous inhabitance shows what blue tags have been released after being named
60kg fluo leader being bit off that's something you don't hear of everyday, must of been one massive water body record pike lol.

The Steelness is way better then the HSV and yes the steelness should do just fine at archi and sea. ☺
Do you have an entire video on how to fish
I have like a 5 video beginner series guides that i uploaded around a year ago that video shows more of just beginner fishing.
Yes like just fishing, I don't exactly know how to use spinning
