Our daughter is from Ethiopia and my Husband does all of her hair care. He used your video Sunday afternoon after doing her weekly co-wash to style her hair. It turned out great! Her hair is about twice as long as yours but it still worked like a charm. Our daughter was super excited to go to school Monday and show her new hairstyle to her friends.
Thank you so much for posting!

Thank you so much for this video. I am an older African American woman and completed treatment for Triple Negative Breast Cancer 1 year ago. I had locs to the middle of my back before I was diagnosed. Chemotherapy took my hair but I refused to wear a wig. Now I have about 2 inches of hair back after a year of healing from the treatment. The brush worked beautifully of my fragile new growth--no breakage, no shedding and the coils are so pretty.

This is so cute. I've never seen anyone define their curls this way. My hair is the same length as yours and I have the same products. I am going to try this right now. Great video. Thanks.

I wanted to say a short THANK YOU!!! I know that you said that you didn't originate this application method however it's the most original and ingenious idea EVER that I have seen in natural hair videos. Thanks again. BTW it works! I tried last night and my texture is different more dense than yours and it works great! It's my go-to style from now on.

Thank you so much! New on my journey for the umpteenth time, but the difference is finally shedding the fear, EDUCATING MYSELF, and not giving in to the stereotypes of what "others", (myself too really), define as beautiful hair. What really gave me strength was the support and encouragement from my new hubby who loves a natural black woman in all her beauty inside and out. Your video was quick and informative with a great personality, so I'm now a subscriber. Thanks for sharing this tip and putting me on to +4nappiness4eva (now beuniquehaircare) as well. I look forward to watching you both! :)

Thanks for showing a quicker way to define curls. My concern has always been time which is the reason I cut my hair short. Your way of defining curls is less time consuming and your hair looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much!! I tried your method this morning and it really did take about 10 minutes! I spent a little more time defining a few curls that needed some tender loving care, and the end result was fabulous!! Just like yours! Thanks a bunch!

Did the big chop after having my 2nd child 20 years ago, rocked the low-cut fade for 5 years, graced dreadlocs for 10 years before chopping off 3 ft of growth, and now I've been wearing it low again. I tried this technique this morning before work and it only took 15 min. I love it!!! Thanks for sharing, sis.

Girl, I am so glad I found this video. I like the definition of coiled curls, but detest the time it takes to do them by finger. I am so lovin' this method that you posted using a brush. As soon as you whipped it out, I was like, "YES, this is the method for me to use." I am all about quickness in getting my hair looking stylish. I sooooooooo hate messing with it for more than 10 or 11 mins. I mean I cut it short for the purpose of not having to take a lot of time with it. Trying it now!
