Your hair is gorgeous!!! I love the style!!! You did a great job on this style. Keep on trucking with the hairstyles, you're giving me lots of inspiration that I can't wait to try out :)
Really cute!!! I am two months post bc and finally loving my twa, but this "look" makes me soooo eager for more growth because it is casually funky...love it!
I think you did fantastic for your 1st time!! It looks really cute an I cant wait to try this. I have been natural b-4 and sometimes dry hair is better to work with. Your hair is verry pretty and it looks soft! I think what you were looking for is length because once it gets longer, that akwardness will jus fall to the side so pretty like lol! 2 thumbs up girl!! Thanks for sharing :)
Your hair came out really pretty!! Im going to try and recreat this look, i'm sure it wont come out as pretty as yours, but i'll try and do a video on it :)
@20pearlsNcurls:::Thank you Sis!! and yes "OUR" hair is long enough for an updo now. lol yes, please try the flat twists again. I wanna see. I tried to braid them upwards and that wasn't as easy as I wanted it to be. I may rock that banded look one day on its own. ha and yes, they BOTH has some great styles on their channel. Thank for watching...i'm excited to see what u come up with from this vid!!!
NICE!!!!! I didn't know that our hair was long enough for a style like this. Yep, I said OUR cuz you know I'm right there with you. LOL!!! You did a GREAT job twisting the back. I can't flat twist to save my life but you have inspired me to try again. Your "banded" hair was too cute! I'm going to get some ponytail holders right now. I like the yellow flower on the side. I'm gonna have to check out KeKe52284 and Dori1017. THANKS for sharing this!
@Kissime3317:::congrats on doing ur daughters hair, and Keke is great! Honestly, the best advise I have is to "TAKE YOUR TIME". I didn't have a mirror to look really, so I just felt my way, by doing it pretty slow, and making sure all the hairs were arapped around each other and close to the scalp. I hope this helps.
Omg I have the same style except my hair is french braided. Try separating the curls and slightly picking out your hair closer to your roots! Great job!!
That's a nice style. Good job. If you're not liking the flat twists just pinned straight up in the back, when you do the style again, you could pin curl the twist around to give it a different look.
@wifeydaflyest:::thank you, and I was REALLY contemplating on adding some hair to the top to give it more volume, but decided to see what mine would look like first. Next time I will add some though. Thanks again for watching :)
@500Shanell::: lol, thanks Shanell. I guess I was self-conscience because it was my first time doing/wearing a style like this. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@pRETTYpOLEpLAY:::thanks SOOO much, and I hope it works out well for you when u try it. and ur very right about trying styles on dry hair and about the longer length to make it just fall and be pretty! lol. thanks for watching!
This is beautiful! I just did this style on my daughter and i too was inspired by KeKe :) Do u have any tips on doing the back of your own head? I have so much trouble with it, i've tried using mirrors but i still cant see. i dunno but im doing something wrong! lol!
Aaaaaaaaah!!! I love hun!!! Thank u for the shout out!!! (blush blush lol) You know how to do some hair girl!!! If you felt the back was standing up you should have pinned it down with some bobby pins but I think it was cute, really funky rocker chic ;)! And yes we are our own worse critics lol!! Great job hun!!!
I stretch my hair that same way because I don't want to blow dry it to much. I only blow dry it if I'm gonna where my fro out. I think that rubberband way is definitely healthier...as long as you got the time.
@dauphmonr:::thank you SOO much... I found myself going over and over this vid, to take out all the extra stuff, so as to NOT overdo it. thanks for noticing. and ur welcome!
I LIKE YOU... we use some of the same products......and I also have a "go to" flower...... I definitely subbed to you.... As for as this hairstyle goes... It gets better with time... I would have pinned up that funny part in the back.... But as your hair gets longer, you'll get more comfy with it but your updo was actually pretty good... It wasnt sloppy or confusing... I think you just need time for your hair to grow... I wish I knew what to do with my hair in my first year of being natural....
@Dementedd118:::thank you! and I sure will, I'm glad to give others some ideas, so we don't feel stuck. and please lemme know how this one turns out for you. thanks for watching!
@varietyisgood:::pahaha, I just wanna show others that we can do more with our natural hair. and ur hair will be at this length before you know it! Thank you for watching and Ima go too! lol
It's cute I really like it im 10 months natural I wish I could try this style but due to a bad perm awhile ago I have a permanent bald spot in the back of my head so I can't try :(

I love how defined your twist are and i love the hair style in general. The front kinda jazzes it up a bit. And awkward is beautiful. 3
Rock the flower if it makes you happy, but you really don't need it. I Think you styled it wonderfully, I wouldn't change a thing...-very classy

@NaturalStylesify:::lol, yeah it is. Im ready for a trim too, thank you for watching!
That's a nice style. Good job. If you're not liking the flat twists just pinned straight up in the back, when you do the style again, you could pin curl the twist around to give it a different look.
@LWrightable:::Thank you and I did wanna rock it as a mohawk at some point, but I decided against it. ha
