- I posted a picture of this protective style that I was able to throw together in about 15 minutes and was asked if I would do a video so here it goes. It was filmed late so don't mind my uneven parting technique LOL.

I absolutely love this style! When I first went natural two years ago, this was the first protective style I ever tried. Two years down the line and I still love it. I've learned so much and this is honestly my favourite full on protective style. I always get so many compliments whenever I do it! Thank you for sharing!
YES, indeed it is!!! I've watched it (and made with difficulty) copies for others, but it was worth it and I definitely spread the word and glad to see others are as well!!

To me this looks like pure magic! I can only hope to ever get that good with flat twisting.
This is cute. I hate when I try to look for updo styles and all I find are mohawk styles. I'm so over mohawks, lol. There's the mohawk puffs & buns, then there are the styles where everything is braided or twisted to the center OMG, enough! Or there's the two side flat twists with the low bun in the back, or the people who think they can roll tuck and pin and BAM, good enough to go in public, lol. I'm sure you can tell that I appreciate the originality in this look.

I watched this video last Saturday night. And figured I would try it for an event I was having yesterday, Friday. Turned out beautiful. I got so mant compliments and plenty of "you did that yourself?" Funny thing is while I was in the mall last Sunday, I just saw a girl with the same updo.
