Some years ago, i didn't knew how deep was Cuatro Caminos, i was never there before. Normally i never use escalators and i walk up the stairs so i tried to do the same here with a pretty heavy backpack...
It was a hell of a climb, i swear i weren't expecting that, nowadays i still go up and down into that station using the normal stairs but it kinda made me realize that if i struggle to go up for 50m, all those people climbing mountains are super humans.

In washington D.C. theres a station over 500 feet underground. it takes over 5 minutes to ride the escalator top to bottom. It's the NE terminus for the red line
