Part of the problem is government regulations as far as safety and emissions. Another reason is manufacturers actually trying to innovate instead of recycling the same products for 20 years which some consumers apparently love, why not buy a new version of the exact same truck every 3 years. But another problem is that manufacturers saw what dealerships were getting away with during Covid as far as mark ups and thought that they could get a piece of that if they inflated the retail prices. I’m about to dump my f150 cuz it’s had so many issues. Service dept keeps blowing me off and idk where to go. All of these twin turbo V6 are freaking me out. I’m about to stop driving a truck because I don’t wanna overpay for something that’s gonna blow up or turbos overheat.
That is no leather seats, for that much? 😂
That's a $52k truck, not a $68k truck. It doesn't have leather.
It does have leather. All limiteds have leather. That’s what Toyotas leather seats look like.
@@Mc.Nuggetz No it doesn't. This generation's limited has SofTex which is imitation leather.
@@kendrickdelosreyes5381 Well coming from someone who’s had real leather and soft tex. Soft tex seems to look better longer.
I wouldn't give 20 grand for that ugly piece of shnit.
This or Nissan Titan, Honda Ridge line & Hyundai Santa Cruz
@rakhsiprayogo82 all 3 are better than this but depends on your needs if you don't need a real truck then Santa Cruz and ridge line would be good.
70k for a truck that won’t last 20k miles is crazy.
Honestly I like the way they look now but with all the recalls it puts the toyota reputation into question. Trucks across the board are way too expensive. The best values I'm seeing is a chevy custom and gmc pro. Toyota needs to slash prices heavy to build back customer support.
I don’t understand how they sell these trucks. The prices are just stoooopid.
have they solved their engine problem?
Toyota took its reputation for granted and found out.
Even with the discounts it's still too much for what you get. Then you get the anxiety of wondering when or if your engine will expire. That alone would always be in the back of my mind. I just don't trust that engine. I would drive my 5.7 from coast to coast and not give it a second thought.
The payload vs tow rating math just doesn’t work out on these, as is the case with most half tons.
I will keep my 19. Prices are insane. Shit the Tacoma is priced at a full size pickup price.
better buy one of these gems there big shooter
Does the tundra still come with the exploding engine option ??
Same engine as the others and same problems
It’s still way too high in price.
My 22 shits erratic, engine has a concerning growl in it, heavy rattles in the rear, wry overpriced but it looks nice.,
45k would be ideal. Still no tow hooks?😮
What tonneau cover is on that again? Toyotas?
Looks like some tri fold tonneu cover. No idea what brand. But their not expensive. Around 600.00 to 1k for the tri folds.
Composite bed how weak. Thats why it gets good gas mileage for weak parts lmbo. I mean if frozen does it shatter in an accident?? Jj.
You consider $2k a big discount? Crazy! Just because all the other manufacturers are asking crazy high prices this tundra is considered a good deal? The truck industry have lost their ephing mind!
Your soooooo close! Just another $10K off in incentives and maybe you might find someone willing to purchase this with hopes that it won’t be back in the dealership within the first 6-12 months with major issues
Need to heal a little more after the last 4 years. I am sure that the higher priced cars and trucks are going to be cost prohibitive for a lot of folks.
60k for a truck is still crazy to me
Just picked up a 2023 Titan Pro4x with 8k miles for 42k , no way I would pay 60-70k for this garbage
Why should I buy a truck the we don’t know for sure it has been fixed. Heard the hybrids are failing now. Of course same engine, what a shocker. And that’s besides the high price.
My personal opinion on the Truck price matter $56,000 plus license plates and taxes that be fair deal with the interest rate 2.99% yes tell me what I need to sign
Bring back the natural aspirated engines
$69K but front recovery hooks are too much to ask 🤦♂️
Transmission issue no thanks
Is this on the Tundras too? I know the Tacoma is having tansmission issues.
@@sooks2008 the Tundra is having grenading engines due to a manufacturing issue. The recall requires an entire engine replacement. That's why nobody is touching them.
@@BrandonBaeckerthe issue has been fixed lol. And it was a very small percentage of vehicles
@@bnorvs5929 small? They recalled almost 100,000 Tundras. Still statistically significant. That's a lot of engine replacements.
pay tens of thousands for a truck which its engine can burn anytime. this is an experimental engine and toyota didnt test long enough to know how reliable they are. toyota basically rush them out of the assembly line to dealerships
I'd take it.
But my 2023 nissan frontier Pro4X is more dependent than the toyota
Trd jon crying
Why?
"It's got the teerdee wheels"
As usual for the past 40 years, Toyota STILL puts the most inappropriate cheap ass tires on their trucks lol. Some things never change
Nah…. I’ll. Keep my 5.7 SR5. Bring back the V8 get rid f that POS v6 turbo crap.
