Good work Abhishek👍🏻 what is the the model and brand name of the reverse power relay. In case if their is any fault power feeding in upward direction to the grid which is in parallel synchronized with generator, what kind of protection we have to provide so the grid gets tripped and generator gets isolated with no disturbance..will appreciate your answer...👍🏻

Hello Tanzeem, when we synchronized GRID in parallel with Generator we normally use two protection. One is reverse Power relay and second is vector surge relay. These are used in Industries to isolate Generator from GRID during abnormality.

I want to know, what happens to power grid if suddenly all the domestic load is disconnected

Nothing will happen to power GRID due to domestic load cut off as many pharma companies and other necessary loads are available to take off the turbines.

Still, if we consider tha case that if all the loads are cut off suddenly then the voltage will rise drastically and GRID will go into outage stage.

Sir, If due to reverse flow of power the synchronous generator behaves as Synchronous motor and turbine will act as a load as mentioned by you then What are the problems that will happen to the Generator ??

since turbine now act as a mechanical load...steam is not doing work on turbine blades. turbine is doing work on steam blades. so blade heated and leads to damage...and compress steams. so it will affect turbine and boiler because compressed steam flows to boiler.
