    I learned how to play on jail and the way he explained it is exactly how I was taught there. Swift & to the point only difference they were verbally aggressively when info didn't register immediately. 😬😂😬😂😂 THANKS AGAIN THIS WAS AWESOME *now to continue pretending not to know what TF I'm doing **& win!

    You can also “nil” which means that you don’t think any of you cards can win a trick/(or just need extra points), if you succeed the round without making a trick to win, you get 50 point. And if you do a trick like using a card that is higher than the others you lose the 50 points and then you get -50 point in the end. If that made sense? Otherwise ask

    Where i live we play it different. The spades don't trump everything, what the bidder chooses is the trump (spade) for that round. So if someone has a 2 of hearts and asks for the ace of hearts they become teammates and heart becomes the trump.
    Im gonna test playing spades when my friends and i are up for a classic game.

    Wait I’m confused, what’s stopping you from bidding 1 every time?

    • @omarcamara1321
      @omarcamara1321 4 года назад +1

      Nothing just depends if you believe you’ll win 1 every time

    • @goonz6249
      @goonz6249 4 года назад +9

      You can even bid 0 if you’re confident you’ll get 0

      If you bid 1 and get 5, you'll only be able to 14 points. However, if you bid 2 and get 2, you'll get 20 points. The higher you bid, the faster you'll be able to accumulate points.

    The person that wins a trick, and they collect the 4 cards, what happens to all those cards? They can use them as playing cards? If so wouldnt the winner have a crap load of cards, more than the other players. So how do u reach 0 cards?

    • @goopher8407
      @goopher8407 4 года назад

      late reply but i don't think you use those cards anymore

      No, we call tricks books where I live. When you win a "trick" you pull it to your side of the table and leave it there. When the game is over you count the number of "tricks" you won. You never pick the cards up and play them again. Spades is an easy game to learn. If you're like me, you learn better by doing it. Find some people who already know how to play. They'll teach you.

      No. They get set aside. So each round you win either you or your teamate collects those four cards. At the end of the game each trick (each set of four cards per round) goes toward how many tricks you bet to win.
