The ending with his mom gets to me. Very emotional, especially cuz i love my mom and she went through a few health problems that could've turned worse.
I know how you feel. My mom had ovarian cancer but made it through the surgery but started to have complications after the fact and she died a day before mother's day.
I love the fact that at first Barry only seems to be moderately worried about not being able to locate any members of the Justice League, aka the only people who can stop Zod from destroying the planet at that point, but learning that all the wrong actors are in the wrong movies is what really makes him panic and realize how badly he's messed up lmao
The basic plot in this film is inspired by a comic book called the Flashpoint where Barry Allen saved his mother's life from being murdered when Barry was a kid and the timeline was altered.
I actually enjoyed this movie regardless of the bad CGI. It was funny and the action was decent and of course to see Michael Keaton back as Batman was awesome and I enjoyed seeing Kara I just wish they did more with her and it was especially cool to see all the alternate Superman's. I absolutely loved this film, as well as your reaction to it. Sure, visual effects leave something to be desired but the humour, action, performances, references? Loved it.
@Reembok Reacts - You seem very confused about the Nicholas Cage Superman stuff... Which is kind of understandable, but also hilarious xD Tim Burton almost made a Superman movie in the 90s, and Nic Cage was the actor chosen to portray the role... A script was written, costumes were made (there are many pictures of Cage in different Superman suits, with different looks, short and long hair, etc.) the movie was very near to filming... But the project was cancelled, in the end. And superhero fans have been making jokes, questions and theories about this movie since then. A documentary was even made about it (Superman Lives). So... That´s what this movie was making a reference to, I guess (fun fact: Cage actually came to set and wore a practical Superman suit, to film the few scenes he has in this movie).
I didn't realize it before without subtitles but when Barry tells his younger self "Barry, stop!" Dark Flash retorts as he appears "YOU, stop!" That makes the reveal all the more chilling imo... His reveal as younger Barry is still one of my fave parts of the movie-- he's like a more monstrous version of Savitar.
This film wasn't as bad as I feared it would be but it certainly left a lot of potential on the table unrealized. I don't know if you were unaware of the misbehavior of Miller in real life that tainted people's reaction to this film or if you set it aside and decided to judge the film on its own merit. As a fan of the original movie Superman films, it was very satisfying for me to finally have that moment when Christopher Reeve's Superman and Helen Slater's Supergirl finally get to stand side-by-side. That is something we didn't get in the Supergirl movie.

A good story, packed with some great performances also - they took Keaton's rather dated Batman and made him into a balanced version of the very same yet different Batman. As for The Flash, I will give Ezra credit, this is an aspect of Barry that I have never seen before in any media outside of comics - his relationship with himself. I fully support Gunn's decision to have Andy be the one to bring Batman to the new DCU.
Eric Stoltz was the original choice to play Marty McFly in BTTF but after a month of shooting they decided to replace him as they didn’t feel like he was right for the role.
Michael J. Fox was actually the original choice for Marty, but he was unavailable as he was filming Family Ties After Stoltz didn't work out, they managed to get Fox to film BttF in the evenings, while still filming for his tv show during the day 😕
great reaction, im glad u liked this movie, for me it was a good movie except the CGI was bad. i cried alot during that last scene of barry with his mom in theater. Sadly it had so many dramas around that affect this movie.
Hi Reema!😊 To be fair, I think they had a tuff time here basically competing against a TV series that ran for 9 years. Comparisons to Grant Gustin's well established TV Flash is inevitable. I also remember the 1990 Flash series that only ran for one season. The star of that show would show up as Barry's father and an alternate Flash in the newer TV series. Eric Stolz was cast and actually shot scenes for the original Back to the Future film. When they fired him, they had to reshoot the scenes with Michael J. Fox. That was cool they brought back Michael Keaton to play Batman again! That was Helen Slater with original film Superman Christopher Reeve. She played "Supergirl" in the 1984 film of the same name. Great reactions to this crazy Flash film, Reema!!!!🎬🎬👏👏👏👏

42:14 In comics and other shows and movies she is also called Supergirl. Superwoman also exists in the DC universe but she is somebody very different.

When batman said "I'll help you get this superman" it was so iconic. Imagine him saying this is the christopher reeves film if they did a joint film.
Send Michael Keaton, his Batman is the best part of the whole movie.
