I’m a vet, 25 yrs old(built bombs)About to pick up my first zx14r(2012). I can’t wait man. Safe travels, and you ma’am are a muthafkin badass in my books
beautiful bike, personally i think you should be wearing a thicker gear for such a powerful machine but as long as you feel confident and safe just have fun and ride carefully.
It's been a challenge of mobility and comfort vs safety protection. My fall/winter gear has better protection. I'm in Vegas now and it's just too frigging hot for much else lol!
Hi, I have 2021 zx14r. I love the bike. You have a nice set up there, but if you want to make that bike better, I recommend a set of Vortex rear sets and a Healtech quick shifter. That will transform your bike to the perfect bike. Have you topped out the bike yet? Mine tops out at 194.6 mph, but I do weigh over 220 pounds with all my gear on.
Cool thanks for the suggestions. Why did you go with the Vortex rear sets exactly? No topping out here 😂 I value my life too much lol. Maybe one day I’ll test it on an airstrip!
@@RedMoonRising24 I actually went with the Vortex because of build quality. The pegs are solid and they grip the soles of your boots extremely well. You have literally lift your boots off the pegs to move your foot position. They will not slide on the pegs. The rear sets also looks better on the bike than the OEM and work better with the quick shifter.
@@RedMoonRising24 that's hard to say since that's all I use. My mileage seems to run pretty good. I have had gas issues over the years and switching to eth free nothing has happened since. I keep a couple of race cans with eth free and seaform at the house. That way I always full when I leave for a ride.
They’re still making this one! 40th Anniversary edition came out this year for 2024. It’s such a solid engine and build they haven’t changed anything since 2012.

Sticky gas cap...clean it with a bit of WD-40....works a treat....👍
Cool thanks 👍🏻
I use 91-93 eth free gas. 4.60 gal.
Plus a shot of seafoam
Did you notice a big difference switching to ethanol free? I wish we had that here!

Is it the audio, or do you have a quiet speaking voice?
Just as I posted that, the volume increased. 😂
I’ve been trying to balance out the dang wind noise in post production but glad it got better!
@@RedMoonRising24It got a lot better. Up to normal level, but less than the g/f when she's PO'd.
lol! That’s too funny 😂
