The start of the testing, I'm reminded of the local elementary school's modular building with its own small ESL system, built in 1996. The modular initially Wheelock MT-24-LSM horn/strobes, but after they renovated it they replaced them with Wheelock Exceder horn/strobes. Interestingly, the main building from 1965 still has the original Gamwell FlexAlarm system intact, with old-style Federal Signal Vibratone 350 horns and Gamewell Century pull stations. They added an elevator in the 1980s or 1990s, and when the modular was built they also wired System Sensor 2400-series smoke detectors from the modular's ESL panel into the main building for elevator recall and an extra system smoke detector (while the rest of the main building just has heat detectors).
The mechanical horns are awesome! I'm glad they went with Wheelock Exceeders instead of SpectrAlert Advances; but those Exceeders need to be synchronized!
@Alwaysdoinit112 Well yes Advances have more customizability than the Exceeder and are better built, but I like the tone of the Exceeder more and the wide variety of candelas on the Exceeders, but Advances they made separate versions for standard and high candela.
Harrington Signal used Faraday signals extensively in the 1990s and into the 2000s. I know they did private label the devices in the 1990s (before the Siemens-era stuff was rolled out in 1998)
I found an apartment building in my area with a Harrington system. There were actually 6 identical apartment buildings built in 2015 and 2016. The ones from 2015 were built with Harrington systems and the ones from 2016 were built with Potter systems. In 2018 and 2019 two of the three 2015 buildings burned down due to construction issues. The Harrington systems did activate and saved the lives of every single resident. Those two buildings were rebuilt with Potter systems. The 3rd 2015 building still has its Harrington system. All of the buildings have Gentex signals rebranded by their respective companies.
@ Yes. As I said, the ones that burned down were also rebuilt. They are all currently occupied. Hopefully they fixed the issues. Apparently, the main issue is that people were grilling on their balcony and there was no sprinklers out there. Because of these fires, my city actually changed their building code to require sprinklers on overhangs more than 6 inches.
@@aerhardt oohhhh I thought it was the building ITSELF caught fire from am electric issue or something with it being built wrong amd caught fire that way!

Love Harrington Signals. Have only found them in Orange Beach / Gulf Shores and most have been replaced now. Are those mechanical horns made by Siemens, or no? Thanks for sharing!!!
The Gentex GMS uses the same Horn Mechanism as well. The 4903-9215 and 4903-9217 are the exact same as the 4903-9219 just different strobe intensities.

Also that Horn/Strobe needs to be replaced at 1:21
This system is my favorite because from what i saw. the U-HN's and the MIZ's are being coded by the panel to code 3.

Oh shit TWO?! How the hell dis that happen?! I'm surprised the third one didn't! Do people still live in the third ones??

2:25 why it sounds similar to an Edwards Integrity alarm
Probably the way the tone was set.
love those mechanical horns!
even better, They're on code 3
Mechanical horns FTW. I love those angry Faraday Siemens horn strobes
Awesome alarm sounds ❤👍
Isn’t this the same building and system from Fire Alarm Test 41?
He's testing them for the 2nd time.

Ahh alright thankyou! It’s good to recheck the system! 👍🏾
i feel like ive seen this building before

to reply for him, Yes. They're U-HN's.
1:20 there’s a problem
Awesome! :3
Never change this system!
There is a dead Horn/strobe though
Those mini horn strobes sound like kidde smoke alarms.
Those mechanical horns sound like a 4903-9219 right
They're U-HN's Which have the same horn circuit.

I wish these were on march time
One of them didn't sound too healthy 😂 but overall cool video!
Wow Wheelock MIZ is really loud i really like Wheelock AS they don't scare me
But they look sus
All Wanted Level Versions And Inception And Bell Test And Code 3 And Angry Horns And Wheelock HSRC Horn Strobe And There Combined
I bet the dead one got replaced by a Wheelock led fire alarm
Also all the mechanical horns sound really raspy
We were only there to inspect not fix. If they opt to replace it, it will most likely be replaced by an LED L series horn strobe or a commander 3
@@FourtyFiftyEighty There are some healthy horn/strobes
