That laugh legit caught me off, but seconds later I couldn't take it serious lmao. Thank god they used the more sinister laughter.
When I first heard 3:51 with the guitar mixed way up and the lack of organ, my heart skipped a beat--in a good way. I almost cried it was so good.
I agree wholeheartedly with you on your comment. The tone of the guitar makes it a superb listen. I was really blown alway by it.

Even if it is a different laugh and a guitar riff segueing into Eclipse instead of an organ, it still sounds just as good.

The moon has a far side which gets both night and day as it revolves around the earth.We never see it because Earth and Moon are tidally locked.

I was listening to a 12/70 show the other week and idk but I was hysteriacy laughing like that mad man, I lost it for over a hour I swear I thought I was going to die, I accepted it, and just laughed the hardest ever, longest ever.. I was tripping so hard. I was in tears I even got a nearby pack of coyotes yelping in response, which just made me laugh even worse. I really didn't think I was going to live but it was the best way to go if I did.
I guess they buried David so much in the final mix because it would have sounded too much like a Beatles ending...
It really misses the organ

I really quite like the alternative version of Eclipse. It must have been a very hard decision on that one. But, the alternative version of Brain Damage, well??? But, here is the thing - The mark of genius is knowing what is genius. And Dark Side of the Moon is pure genius and the band picked exactly what was needed to make the most successful album of all time, congrats to the band!!! DSOM will probably be on the charts in the top 100 for many, many years even after all of the band members (including Roger) are dead and buried (sorry about saying it that way - was just making a point). Many thanks for sharing this stuff, it is fantastic even if I don't prefer some of it, that does not mean I hate it. It's Pink Floyd so what is not to like!!!

I like the laugh tracks on this version. makes you very uncomfortable, moreso than the finished studio version.

Brain damage is most certainly missing the organs but I can’t help but feel this version of eclipse is superior to the original

you do realize this was made by pink floyd and not the uploader right? this was part of the immersion edition of the album which came with the normal album, a concert of the full album, and an early mix
He didn’t ruin the song, it’s an early version of the song before it was released
