- Showing some of the challenges of replacing the front axle sprocket and front chain. I ended up making a new tool for my air hammer to drive the roll pin out of the axle.

I wish you would have showed where that bolt is to loosen the front eccentric, i have a 1997 Scrambler 4x4 im rebuilding and im throwing all new chains on it but i cant seem to get them both on at the same time. The rear and middle chains were no problem but the front and middle wont play nice together, lol. I loosened the middle eccentric and with some blaster it was moving by hand in minutes. Thats strange for a Pennsylvania vehicle. I figured it would be solid rust. I think it was someones garage kept baby for a long time, but whoever had it recently hasnt replaced jack in a long time. I shouldnt have paid 1500 for it but i didnt know it needed everything. Im about to do the swingarm bushings and brakes and hub bearings next and i believe it will be done. Ive done quite a bit to it. Im anxious. I bought my daughter a 2000 trail boss for her birthday so we can ride together and it was good to go, i wish the scrammy would have been but those are usually more beat on. I like your videos. If you can please make a quick video about how to adjust the front chain on a Polaris or even try to explain it here id be grateful. I believe they quit using chain drive front ends in 98 so not alot of info online about it. Your video here is all i found about it. Thanks again for the videos.
Update: i watched this video with my brightness turned up all the way, now i see the bolt you were talking about for the front eccentric. Thanks for making this. Its the only video on the internet about the front eccentric on older polaris atvs.
Thanks
