  • In this video I share my thoughts about how a photo walk should be - how it should make you feel and what you must take from it.
    I used a Panasonic G7 camera together with a Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom Lens.

    You earned a new sub. Please continue these types of videos and try to balance them with your other gear reviews.

      Thank you very much! I try to keep this channel on one topic, camera lenses, so people know what to expect; but I also do other other gear reviews, about cameras, for example, on a different channel named Camera Explorations.

    Do you have any sample pics in lowlight using this 14-140mm lens?

      Unfortunately not, but I can tell you quickly: It is a poor performer in lowlight. f/3.5 to f/5.6 are dark apertures (especially on MFT). From
      my experience, you immediately have to bump the iso over 800 if light conditions aren't good. It's a nice lens if you have plenty of light, though. See my " A Good Travel Photography Lens? Panasonic 14-140mm (In-Depth Review) " video for more info about this lens.

    Im going to need 8000 by 8000 pixel photos, can the G7 make these high res photos? And do you know the max pixels you can get out of it? Thx

      @apertureatlas  11 месяцев назад +2

      The maximum resolution of the Panasonic G7 is 16 Megapixels (4592 x 3448) and it can't get higher than that. It is an entry level camera. 8000 x 8000 pixels (64 Mpx) straight from the camera is a lot. Only High End cameras can go that far, like the Panasonic G9, for example, in its High Res Mode, on a tripod, can produce 80 Mpx (7776 x 10368) images; or the new Panasonic G9 II, handheld, in High Res Mode, can go up to 100Mpx.

    Quick English tip:
    “A nice Autumn weather” would be grammatically incorrect because weather is in a group called “uncountable nouns,” which means that when trying to express any kind of quantity, you can’t use the word “a” or “an.”
    The correct way to say your sentence would be to say;
    “Some nice Autumn weather.”

      Thank you for this tip! While working on videos for this channel, there are moments when I say to myself: “I wish I were a native English speaker”.
      Sometimes, it is quite a struggle to get the pronunciation right, and I have to start over. I have fewer issues on my other channel, where I speak in my native language.
      Also, there are the 30 hours of work invested in this video, but those are not visible. What is visible is my mistake made at 0:22. Hopefully, it doesn’t cancel out the entire 5 minute video for you. Again, thank you! I will be more careful.
