I remember the when I played this game the first time the Baron challenge happened, after watching him immediately die I thought "Well that was fucking stupid." The he came back in the next level and I thought "Oh, NOW I get the joke" and loved every time he showed up after that... and then he surprised me as the final boss.
Thinking about it, considering how one of the announcers is an ex-champion who had been mauled a lot and is surprisingly still alive, I would say that the Baron is the more direct proof that this setting has some weird resurrection stuff going on.
the way I see it, there are only two explanations for why the black baron keeps coming back: 1: he is immortal, so he can't truly die. 2: he's got a shit-ton of clones!
3. Or...is like a whole....group dedicated to keeping the Baron 'alive'....When one dies, the next guy just takes his place and the legacy continues!....
I'd always wondered how he kept coming back after dying, but stayed dead after the boss fight. But he wasn't coming back; he was just tough enough to survive all of that shit. That's what makes him the final boss.
"Just don't go asking the Bishop of Blood and Carnage to caddy for your ass, you punk-ass bitch!" That line always had Me rollin', the way he say's it is hilarious. And of course, "Hell yeah, this the sequel bitch." LOL.
I love the way this girl is able to give the baron hell and give us all a good laugh! I don't really care how the baron comes back. If he didn't continually die, what fun would that be?
Wait a second... The overly sexualized female characters... The Black/White and Red all over art style... The Racial stereotypes... A character constantly surviving fatal slapstick... It all makes sense! The Black Baron is actually Octopus from Frank Miller's horrendous movie The Spirit if he succeeded in obtaining immortality, went even more insane and actually was in blackface the whole time!
I think we just found the voice for Valentino in Hazbin Hotel. You're welcome for the mental image of Val doing this. Maybe one of his bitches killin' him. In fact, someone do an animation of that: Valentino's Bloodbath Challenges.
If we give this game enough time, the Black Baron could go down as one of the greatest meme characters in history. It happened with Senator Armstrong, so why not this guy?
He is in fact alive in Anarchy Reigns, as the Blacker Baron. It's not exactly a sequel to Madworld, but it has the same setting and some characters return.
I do wonder how he survives all of these. did he make a pact with the devil until the final boss? is he like skips from Regular show? HOW THE FUCK DOES HE LIVE?!
