This isn't the kind of video I'm looking to watch right now, but before I go I thought I'd leave a comment and let you know how much I appreciate that you offer lots of different kinds of videos, it seems like there's something for everyone here! ❤

What a peaceful, lovely time that was, thank you! I made good progress on knitting the starting triangles for my Sunset camisole. Very fitting, an evening at the beach. I also liked how we could hear kids playing and see other people out enjoying the surf. Made it very live 😊

Sweet! I enjoyed this while starting a new project, so no talking was perfect! I think children sound exactly like seagulls sometimes! Thanks Mark; so relaxing.

If a person is introduced to a physician at a social gathering it is considered exceedingly rude to ask him / her to diagnose your aching (fill in the body part) on the spot. Yet here I am, ever-so-politely suggesting that in your no-dialogue knitting videos and only in your no-dialogue videos, you sing or hum a lullaby to us. Just one little lullaby, something not in your professional repertoire. A kind of "stitch and sing" moment, because you have such a beautiful voice. But of course, singing is your profession, your day job, so it would completely understandable if this is too much of an ask. I am a retired pianist and I well remember folks asking me to sit down a play their requests while at a party. Sometimes I did, sometimes I didn't, but it always did seem rather bold of people to ask. But you DO have such a beautiful voice. 🙂

Hi Mark! I love your videos, normally I'm knitting while listening to your voice.
I live in Germany, near Munich, too far away from the north sea. Today I watched your video while spinning wool on my spinning wheel. That was very meditative and with the sound of the waves, it gave me the feeling of a day on the beach in Denmark, at my favorite isle Rømø. Thank's a lot for the Video!

Hi Mark! I love crocheting at the beach! I am a new litter, so I haven’t brought my knitting yet to the beach, but will soon!
    Happy knitting to you! ❤🧶❤

Thanks Mark, sometimes it's just a good time just to sit and relax and knit. Enjoying the view, great lighting and most important, enjoying the time with the needles, thanks again 😉
By the way I learned a new stitch while watching, your knit 1, purl 3. And loved the color of the yarn 🧶😀

I thoroughly enjoyed this video, but I prefer hearing your story while we knit together. I'm currently working on a top-down raglan pullover at this time, but without a pattern, just algebra and calculus (finally, I'm getting some use out of my high school education). Also, I'm thankful I had the opportunity to look at your hands while you knit, and I made note of the similarities and differences in our styles. I've been experimenting with my style of knitting over the last 37 years, and what works best for me is a combination of Scandinavian and Irish knitting techniques. That may change in the future, I don't know. Two of the best things about knitting are that you're free to do it as you see fit, and that innovation is all over the place, not just in what one makes, but also how one makes it. You're a good human, don't ever change that.

Love this, think you did this once before, and the time sitting at HHI - Im just up with my coffee (6am) here in Charleston, - just (mentally) took the two hr ride out the Hilton Head and brought my coffee along- just rolled up a hank of yarn, into a ball, for a pair of socks (Hopefully, my first pair)
