This game is so cinematic I felt like I was watching the best Spider-Man movie.
Two 'movies' in one year!
That's how the first game was. Better than any of the movies
It’s more cinematic than Disney MCU garbage movies.
It gave us the best Peter Parker in personality and in appearance... til they made him weirdly more Holland-esque in remastered and too young looking to have had relationships with both Mary Jane and Felicia...
Looking forward to this game though. I can't watch Spider-Verse because I had major sensory overload issues with the first one and it's hyper-kinetic style and frame rates. I even tried it in small segments but it still caused anxiety. :/

Did anyone notice at the end how Peter just threw the last survivor on the floor with no regard. Even Miles noticed it 🤔
More he wears the symbiote, more it consumes him, makes him angrier, Spider-Man comics 101, Symbiotes bond to hosts, and the longer they wear them, they heighten aggression, so if Peter has that suit on for like 2/3 chapters, he's raging.

@@Nolabray21 Actually in the comics, as I know, Symbiotes amplify the host's aggression, it's makes them stronger, and more angrier, aggressive, it feeds on hate, it feeds on a host that can keep it alive.

it's so rare that a sequel game with so many built in expectations legit manages to exceed all of them but from the looks of this cinematic af trailer, SM2 will do that and more 🔥🔥🔥
i usually wouldt count a game that isnt out yet so easily but judging by how amazing it looks and the previous game i wouldnt doubt it lives up to the hype, they would have to seriously mess something up for it not to be a contender for goty

This game kinda feels like a monster horror game a lil bit, you can tell by how different the atmosphere is
Insomniac did say if PS4 was “A New Hope”, 2 is “The Empire Strikes Back.” And it shows, the tone feels much darker
And I cannot wait !
Hopefully some of that same feeling you got playing arkham Asylum for the 1st time

Venom was shown already & in Ultimate origin hes not an alien hes genetically engineered to save lives. Harry could be Venom

@@kage432 Yeah, he'd got rid of the symbiote by then but Black Cat loved that look so much (it fits her colour scheme and they were a thing at the time) she made him a cloth replica (fans had originally hated the black suit but by time he got rid of the symbiote fans had gotten used to and even LOVED the black suit so that was story reason to keep the appearance of it but not the original alien) Later he got rid of it when he was with MJ and Venom had made his debut scaring her so much she couldn't stand the sight of the black suit and Pete went back to his red and blue.
Harry isn't going to be venom, that was just a tease.

the limb dismemberments, finishing moves and trash talk finna be nuts - i hope insomniac goes ultra realistic and grimy as possible with that game to differentiate it from spider-man's glistening, picturesque new york skylines. It'd be so dope if they touched on wolverine's origins back when he served in the U.S. military with Cap's howling commandos in WW2, redo the Weapon X storyline but more akin to the comics, much less like the movies, his time in Japan and maybe even feature other X-men. Along with what will undoubtedly be groundbreaking berserker-style combat mechanics, i'm also hoping the game's storyline does a deep dive into other aspects of logan's life we've never seen before
@@joeg6478 Bruh those are multiple different games my guy. If they want to do a trilogy they can do late 1800s/Howling commandos for the first. Then Japan/Modern Day for the sequel then an Old Man Logan for the third lol.

Miles Morales was a PS5 launch title, but it did get a PS4 release as well. I have the Platinum trophy in both PS4 and PS5 versions (same with the PS4 and 5 versions of the main game). Super hyped for this.

Re watching the gameplay and listening to the audio, the spidermen need the lizard alive because he’s the only one that knows how to save Harry because he’s dying, kraven and his followers are all trying to kill him. My question is, how did Peter get the symbiote if it was in the tank with Harry? Also who do you think will be the host for venom? There could probably be some sort of twist with the symbiote keeping Harry alive protecting him from his disease which also causes him to breakout and turn into venom

Hm that seems odd. Why wouldn't they have the rights after proving themselves the best company around to make Spidey games. And Sony still owns a piece of the rights themselves, yeah? Which should hopefully ensure the games don't ever get delisted off the PS store like what happened to previous Spider-Man games by Activision and such?

It makes sense that Peter is turning to the dark side because on the first Spider-Man on PS4 we know that Uncle Ben is no longer there but then he loses on May at the end.
You can see he was emotionally broken
I don't know when Spider-Man 2 takes place maybe it's a year later but it seems like he hasn't recovered from losing his loved ones.
And his emotions has turned into grief which turned into anger and I think the Symbiote sense that and seaked Peter out take advantage of his pain.
And it seems like you're going to have to fight Peter in the game and I believe he's going to see Uncle Ben's Spirit that's going to get him back to his senses.
