      Bea Angelica Andersson I agree but soon I am having brain surgery on my bone by my eye nerves and they can not shrink the bone can they?? I know, No. So they can not fix every thing and they are just getting people with unfixable pains dreams up.

    I feel like this is a scam. The man does a lot of talking without really explaining what is happening exactly. There is no direct explanation on how this is supposed to work. The success could have to do a lot with placebo.

    • @LookICanExplain
      @LookICanExplain 6 лет назад +120

      Well sometimes the placebo effect works better than real medicine because the pain is in your head. If you give a 'solution' then your brain will think it's getting better. It's psychological.

    • @Ferroes
      @Ferroes 6 лет назад +31

      Psychologically, yes. But upon understanding and considering this it may return from the psychological 'cure' and with this understood the placebo effect doesn't apply to bone structure such as, say, hand surgery or ankle damage.

    • @LookICanExplain
      @LookICanExplain 6 лет назад +11

      iron saad There have been studies shown that people when even IBS have been given false doctor's notes for pain medicine. The patient knowing it's not real but it still diminishes the effect. It's been applied to other fields such as Parkinson's and patients with asthma. Just because people know it's a not a real cure doesn't make the results any different. It's all about your perspective of pain.

    • @Vivianleighe

      Megan Baggins it works. I worked at a chiropractor’s office and we used cold laser therapy as well as the foot detox. (You can see them using the foot detox in this video too. When the girls feet were in the white bucket)
      Between the chiropractic care and all the modalities, you really can get some great results.

    This works. And for folks who think this is a scam or a placebo, then just read the various randomized, double blind, placebo controlled studies published in peer reviewed medical journals. You can always google Photobiomodulation and NCBI to see the research. NCBI = National Center for Biotechnology Information, U.S. National Library of Medicine.

      YES. This is a fantastic idea. I may do that for our lasers. In this video ( ruclips.net/video/BEaNsYLzbL8/видео.html ) I interviewed a woman who specifically talks about how she was impressed that the laser therapy gave her longer-lasting results than chiropractic or massage therapy and in that way, it was less expensive to buy a laser of her own than to carry one paying for therapy.

      bogus ignorant statement. I know it works because there are 600 + RCT's on PubMed saying so. Its readily accepted not simply to work but to work beyond what you'd even imagine. www.brainandspinechiropractic.com/research/lasers-and-traumatic-brain-injuries-post-concussion-syndrome/ We see Traumatic Brain Injury cases recover all the time. We have FDA approved eye tracking system that validates their brain function is unarguably improved. Balance and many other objective tests show improvement beyond the patient getting Jaw dropping pain and function improvements.
      were'nt those studies cool?!? notice how many hudnreds of studies are linked in the abstract between the studies. its well substantiated.
      you wouldn't believe the results of the studies on Sport Enhancement, Sport recovery, etc. if i told you. the conclusions of these studies are pretty remarkable. check it www.brainandspinechiropractic.com/research/lasers-and-sport-enhancement/
      enjoy

    My horse was lame on 3 legs the vets couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her and suggested I put her down. I paid thousands for all kinds of treatment before I found out about cold laser therapy. It really was a case of this is her last hope if she didn’t start to get better I thought it would be cruel to keep her in pain. The difference after just one session was insane after 4 she was nearly completely sound again. Over time the sessions became further apart and eventually I was able to start riding her again! I still can’t believe how incredible cold laser therapy is I recommend it to anyone human or animal I really feel like I witnessed a miracle.
    I already posted this as a reply to someone else but I thought I might as well just repost it as I’ve seen loads of comments about placebo effect.

    I do cold laser therapy on animals like dogs and cats at the animal hospital I work at. I've done it for arthritis, nerve pain, and many other strange things, like mysterious swelling of unknown origins that won't respond to any other treatments. I had a 13 year old dog come in with his back legs in a sling, unable to use them at all, and now a year later he walks into his appointments all by himself. We can't use it in some situations, like cancer or tumors, because it stimulates healing and growth, and growth is something you definitely don't want with cancers... Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't, but in my experience it has never made anything worse...
    Plus the animals look cute as hell in the glasses!

  • @tristanholderness4223

    This is quackery and the benefits are entirely due to the placebo. The lasers aren't going to reach anything other than the surface of the skin and all they'll do there is warm it up a tiny bit.

    • @SeganHealthHacker
      @SeganHealthHacker 5 лет назад +1

      You're affirming without having a clue of what you're talking about. Why? Check PubMed. Search "LLLT" or "tPBM". Tons of positive researches - I've read some four dozens of them - lots of big gov agencies involved with this tech like Darpa, NASA, pentagon...

      @officialscalarwavelaser-ex6986 3 года назад +1

      Not even likely warm it up. If you ever put your hand underneath a cold laser, you will likely feel almost no difference in temperature, at all. And there are a lot of unsubstantiated claims in this video. However, the depth of penetration into the tissues of the body varies by wavelength and power of the diodes and some lasers do penetrate deeper into the body than the epidermis. One could google "infrared lllt penetration study".

    • @DocBock
      @DocBock 4 месяца назад

      I know this is 5 years old, but I stumbled across this video and I can explain what's going on. First, it's not placebo. Light does and can penetrate the skin at different wavelengths. What's going on is called photobiomodulation, photobiostimulation, and photobioinhibition which means intracellular stimulation of mitochondrial activity, wound healing, and pain management, respectively. The wavelength that cold laser operates on is between 630-1200nm because that range absorbs best into the body rather than the skin surface. The laser aspect is light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation and photophoresis occurs which is chemically driven by light into the treatment area. This is the explanation this guy should have given. Both the patient and the doctor should be wearing goggles though, not just the patient. This treatment modality is medically sound, however, a more controversial approach is a photophysiological effect used for neuropathy, failed back surgery, spinal stenosis, plantar fasciitis, and carpal tunnel. Respectfully, have an idea of what you're trying to prove or disprove before you go spouting off incorrect information...

      Check PubMed. Tons of positive researches - I've read some four dozens of them - lots of big gov agencies involved with this tech like Darpa, NASA, pentagon...
      Don't wait for their explanation on it. Search "LLLT" or "tPBM".

      He does make a lot of claims here that are unsubstantiated. The FDA does tightly regulate claims like these. I don't know about litigation but he certainly is not doing a lot to improve the image of cold laser therapy, which is a scientifically-validated therapy with real results that have cleared FDA, Health Canada, CE and other regulators.

    I've had many people work on my elbow and shoulder for tendinitis. I've had ultrasound, a cortisone shot, chiropractor care, ice and rolling a needle on the spots, as well as this cold laser therapy. I know cortisone has worked with some people but did not work with me. I had these lasers on me and lol I felt like an idiot, sitting for a session with some blinking lights moving over my arm and shoulder. It did nothing. What worked for me was chiropractic care with heat or ice. Definitely not lasers

    I can't strighten them properly, while walking they seem fine, but when I lay down and lift them up, they stay bent. I've been like that for 18 years (all my life)
    I think there might be something wrong with my muscles or something, but truthfully I have no idea.

      Tiffany Ferguson I haven’t seen cold lasers in conventional doctors offices but I worked for a chiropractor and we used cold laser therapy. A lot of insurance companies will cover chiro visits.
      My chiro used to charge cash patients $50 for half hour if I remember correctly. Hope this helps!

    • @cybernurse2020
      @cybernurse2020 2 года назад

      Hi Paul - I just started laser treatments at an acupuncturist's office. The device she uses scans the patient first, which showed some spikes on a small readout screen (indicating "pathogens"). She chose to treat my abdomen, so the answer is yes! I'd suggest doing a search for "Photobiomodulation". There's a lot out there. Good luck!
