    Undereye fillers are kinda flawed because they're made of hyaluronic acid so they draw water in which can make your under eyes look puffier.
    Also if you do get undereye filler, make sure not to get it refilled on a set schedule. It stays in the body for a long time (even over a decade) so if you just keep filling it without paying attention, it can start looking really bad.
    Alternate options for treating the under eyes:
    - surgery to remove excess skin
    - thread lifts (threads placed in the face that are pulled to give a lifting effect and as they dissolve, it promotes collagen production)
    - PRP (platelet-rich plasma that comes from your blood is injected to help smoothen and rejuvenate your under eyes)
    - obviously, diet, sleep, stress, skincare like retinols and sunscreen are very important
    PRP is also really good to bring some colour to your lips and smoothen and plump the lips. If you notice your lips are looking duller lately because of age, this is a very good option and it looks totally natural, unlike regular fillers.

      Thank you for listing some different options 😭🙏 i have such bad hollows under my eyes and I’ve wanted filler for so long but keep hearing how bad it is for the under eye area. I’ve been looking for any kind of alternative for a while so I’m glad there’s some kind of hope beyond relying on concealer everyday 😅

    Honestly, I got under eye filler in 2019 when I was 23 as well. It was the best decision I ever made. To this day the results have managed to stay in my face!! I went to an ocuplastic surgeon in nyc for this, who also has a high client satisfactory rating across all in-office procedures. It definitely does not age the face and it works if done well. The product hyaluronidase is an incredibly powerful enzyme which will dissolve your own body’s natural hyaluronic acid and should only be used conservatively in extreme cases of swelling or filler migration. This patient really did not need this product used under her eyes as the result of her fillers were flawless. The rest of her face did look overfilled however.

      Hi Ian! I have filler under my eyes from 4 years ago and it hasn't dissolved but migrated down and is begging to cause smile lines and are sometimes hurting, a weird pain I can't describe. I have seen how fillers under the eyes can cause the bone to lessen in that area, and I feel like I should get it removed (as it have migrated it doesn't cover my eyes circles any more) but what you wrote here makes me a bit nervous..

      @@hulubulu280 Hey Gabriella, I've been getting filler for years, also in my under eye area and had to have four sessions to dissolve most of them all around my face. Hyaluronidase does possibly dissolve some of your own hyaluronic acid, but your body regenerates it. I was super nervous about this same thing, but noticed nothing of the sort. Most of the hollowing effect you see on Rachel is due to the filler being dissolved. **I got my filler dissolved** I did a lot of searching about dissolving filler and much like everyone else, theres a lot of scary and bad stories out there. I was really torn on getting my filler dissolved or not but I was confident in my doctor and I took the risk and got it done. I had had filler 4 times in 4 years (2 syringes June 2019 and 2 October 2022). I felt overfilled and puffy and wanted to look "normal" again. If you go to RealSelf its full of terrible reviews but I will say, I think a lot of it is unrealistic expectations. Here me out, before I got filler I took photos of myself so I know exactly how I looked 4 years ago. Getting filler dissolved you have to also understand you will look different in 4 years... I think people dont understand that part. Heres my experience: She pricked me a total of 5 times (3 one eye area, 2 the other) and it burned like hell for a second but then it was over. She didnt massage it or anything (I had other filler I didnt want dissolved yet so she maybe didnt want to spread it). She said it could take 3 days to fully dissolve everything. I had to sign a waiver and that waiver does mention the rumor of it possible dissolving good HA (like all the horror stories but many doctors say it comes back soon after). The day it was dissolve I did feel like it was a little "deflated" looking but I plumped back a couple days later. I might not even had been "deflated" but all the reviews and scary stories prepare you for that affect so maybe I thought it..I am happy with the results. I look different but I am not who I was 4 years ago and I think its approprite for my face/weight/age (29 year old). My under eye veins are more apparent but I mean, theres no filler there to maybe cover them? Regardless, I am happy I took the chance and I will be going back to get all the rest of my filler dissolved about 3 weeks after this was done. If you have questions, I would be happy to help and provide pictures, if needed.

      Nope, it's not. I have really bad under eye dark circles and I've had them since I was a kid , now I'm in my 30s. I'm super self conscious about them. I look older than I am and very tired no matter how much I sleep. When I wake up I sometimes have puffy eyes and my dark circles are not so noticeable because the under eye are looks more filled. So I look my age for about 20 minutes. I'd definitely get this under eye filler but I'm still researching it.
      Cheekbone fillers.. the ones I've seen makes people just look like they have a chubby face. Which isn't bad if that's what they're aiming for. But not for me.

    It's so weird to see people want a puffy face and big curves now. Growing up I always hated my wide hips and puffy face... Apparently those are the top beauty standards now lol

    • @9395gb
      @9395gb Год назад +1

      I love my hips. People want an hourglass. But I don't think people should force it or try to get plastic surgery to achieve it especially if it destroys the natural harmony of your body.
      In terms of the puffy face...they don't want it. They want to just fill in their wrinkles but it doesn't work. It causes puffy face from overfilling and migration. It doesnt dissolve on its own and it messes with the person's natural facial harmony.
      Anyhow, 10% of the world's population is born beautiful..they won the genetic lottery. But why be jealous or envious of them. Admire and appreciate beautiful people and then move on.
      I don't know why the 90% are trying to achieve that. It's not working and it's causing people to look worse.

    Should have allowed nature to set him before getting these you have to be careful. But it's a beautiful thing when you have natural beautiful melanated skin that you never have to worry about getting fillers and facelifts for the most part because it withstands a lot of elements from Sun to cold to brisk Winters. And still have glowing endurance.

    • @eveningstar8581
      @eveningstar8581 2 года назад

      Many many many black women and men get fillers and Botox! Yes you still have to be careful in the sun! I mean come on lol! Having melanated skin is not a cure all and it doesn’t immune from aging. Loads of people think that black people don’t get skin cancer, however they’re more likely to die from skin cancer if they do get over any other skin tone! Proven fact. Also darker skin is more prone to dark spots and skin moles/bumps from the sun. You should be a voice for people with melanated skin instead of spreading false information and narratives

    There’s way too many subpar injectors out there. This woman is so beautiful but the poorly done lip filler is really hindering the beauty of her lips, which probably looked better before she got them done. Badly done filler just becomes very distracting because it sticks out as being unnatural and then it becomes the focal point of the face.

    _Sounds like the problem was the TYPE of filler, not filler in general._
    The doctor even mentioned fixing the mild hollowing later: sounds like better filler or PRP will be next.
    However, I’m just saving money for the under eye surgery. Lol I’ll do that around 40.

    • @tiahnarodriguez3809
      @tiahnarodriguez3809 2 года назад +1

      It’s a but of both. Getting filler under the eyes is notorious for being difficult and some doctors refuse to donut because of how easy the filler migrates and creates problems for the rest of the face.

    • @f3042
      @f3042 2 года назад

      @@tiahnarodriguez3809 No I agree now. I wanted filler but it’s not happening. I’ll just wait and get a little nip/tuck under the eye when I’m older
