Thanks so much for your story... I have the same problems too. This the 1st yr going hunting with my boyfriend and hes I needed to buy hunting clothes. I was scared I have hard time finding stuff normally now hunting clothes especially pants always been hard for me cuz I'm curvy and have long legs. He didn't get why I couldn't just go in regular store like him and just pull of the rack ( bless his heart). I have look online, read reviews ect till I hope find something to work. Thats how I found your video's they help alot 😁 thank you
Yup that’s exactly why I created my channel! I know women are searching and I hope that they can find me and I can hopefully help them see that there are items out there.
I totally get this. I feel like it's 100% fine for a guy to be a hunter when he's overweight but overweight women hunters are viewed as incompetent, none of the hunting stores sell clothes for overweight women because there aren't any, we get laughed out of any hunters spaces so none of us go to buy from retailers.
I still remember going to the boat ramp and a bunch of men, most of whom were even larger than me, laughing and making comments as I took the boat off the trailer specifically they were calling me a fat bitch, and a pig... what hypocrites.
I actually thought I was doing a pretty good job considering I was unloading the boat off of the trailer alone, if any of you have tried to do this you know how hard it is, you're basically trying to operate two vehicles simultaneously and it is *not* easy, you basically have to reverse into the water, get the boat off the trailer and take it over to a pole or warf to tie up, wade/walk back in and go park the ute, then wade/walk back out to the boat. Usually when it's a single guy unloading a boat other people waiting will come and help hold the boat to make it easier and so the ramp will be free faster. But me? Nope they just sit and watch and laugh.
I never went back there and instead get the boat on the water using a steeper(ie harder) offroad ramp a couple km out instead of the one in town purely to avoid men making comments like that. I can't enjoy my day of fishing with those sorts of negative comments floating round my brain.
