Be sure to check bushings too, mine were dry rotted and crumbling. Could literally swing the A arms back n forth

Just for future reference bleeding the brakes it should have a lock lever on the brake handle for the parking brake

I just did this on my 2005 Sportsman 500 HO, and I don’t know what I was expecting? For some reason since there is a new caliper, new pads for that rear caliper, I even installed a new rear master cylinder and thought that I would actually have a rear brake when I pushed the foot pedal. I bled the system very well, it just seems like the “back brake” is mostly for putting the trans in park or high, and does literally nothing for slowing and stopping. I made a light mark on the rear rotor, then roads out of garage and pushed rear brake pedal and it removed my mark, so it’s working, just annoying to not have any slowing power.

The 800 had brakes on both rear tires the 700 only has one rear brake on the right rear side

Could this be why my 04 polaris 700 twin makes a knocking noise when I use the foot brake?

I need to change the lines on my 2004 sportsman 500. For the life of me I can't find a good diagram and I noticed it looks like the transmission is sitting on the lines and pinching them against the frame. Any help on getting the diagram?

I wouldn't have a clue to be honest I didn't really look at the lines on mine besides right where the calipers are
