And I still think it will be underwhelming.
I still wish B&M went a tiny bit more out of the box, and had the first corkscrew replaced with a zero-g stall, and the exit of the horse-shoe turn around changed to be a slight outward banked element. But hey, at least we are finally getting something good to replace Volcano

Dude. You’re a beast. I was wanting a video with the known color scheme and here it is! It looks to me that you made improvements to the footer islands to reflect what Kings Dominion has actually built. Nice touch.

If the airtime hill ends up having decent ejector airtime like in the pre-creation, I will be a happy man.
As will I! Out of everything in the layout, that part is probably one of the biggest risks of being wrong. I do believe the footer arrangement in that area supports the theory (that’s why I depicted it that way), but you just never know until it happens. And that’s why I love these precreations!

Lol. I hate to inform you of this, but I was indeed wrong on this part. The launch will be slightly inclined as predicted, but no drop-off at the end of it. All the launch & first element track is on site, and none of it matches the shape of what the little drop has. Unfortunate!
actually meant the airtime hill before the brakerun but the launch not having a drop is a shame, too 😢

@@Tomtycoon yep, I figured that out a few weeks ago when those track segments showed up. Chose not to do a “v3” animation since it was so close to the announcement. Still super happy with it!

The track that was spotted was more of a darker green then lighter, also how on earth do you get airtime on a wing with vests haha
I feel good about this color. From pictures posted by multiple people at different times, the track can look pretty drastically different in various lighting.
And wings most definitely can have airtime. Fenix's hill after the drop is excellent!
There’s airtime on the beyond vertical dive drops that have vests, they can definitely do it on a wing
It is actually possible to get ejector airtime on a wing coaster- Fenix at Toverland does it really well
I did not realize you could get airtime on a wing, I have wild eagle at my home park and have not gotten any airtime on that ride, probably because I do the front row on that ride most of the time to get all the wind in my face haha
The only change I’d make is to make it inverted. I feel that it would then really replace the volcano in that aspect too

It honestly could be. It's impossible to know based solely on the footer plan used to make this layout, we ultimately concluded there was more precedent for a wide overbank (see Emperor at SWSD's 2nd element) than a full inverted top hat, but I can't rule it out. Would be super fun though!
I think they could have marketed better if they painted it yellow to play on the nostalgia from volcano the blast coaster
Could you also duplicate or make another video of this with Penguin Trek-like coaster trains just incase? Because it might not be a Launch Wing Coaster. Kings Dominion could secretly be working with B&M on a Jinma LSM-like launch Coaster but buy B&M. It won't be a B&M Family Launch Coaster like Penguin Trek at SeaWorld Orlando no, it could be a B&M LSM-like launch coaster with inversions. This could make up as the new version of Anaconda judging by the color of the track to match the real Anaconda's skin color. I know Cedar Fair doesn't work with Jinma but they do with B&M so they could get a B&M lsm-like or a B&M non-lsm launch coaster.
It’s a Wing. The label stickers on the track confirm this, as it has the code “WI-T” printed on it. Translated, this is the 20th Wing Coaster project commissioned. (Technically this will be #19 to open; we know everything from WI-A to WI-T now except L, which is presumably long cancelled).
This won’t be a sitdown LSM launcher like you’re describing, but I definitely want to see one of those. Seeing Penguin Trek, I think it’s a logical next step that someone could order one of those in the future!
@@MLDesignsa Code is a Code, It has nothing to do with what it stands for because there's a 5 year old image of the Orion Track taken at the Clermont Plant and there's a code label MC-T and MC-R which I thought it stands for Mega Coasters [Mini Hyper] but months later, it was revealed that Orion is really a 287ft B&M Hyper Coaster with 300ft drop. So we'll see about that.
@@themeparkreconnoiter9787 The code quite literally tells what ride model it is. WI = Wing Coaster. Mega Coaster is coded as MC, both Hyper AND Giga fall under Mega Coaster category (example: Orion was MC-T, Candymonium was MC-R). They're the same ride type, one's just taller.
@@MLDesigns Why the hell would they labeled them as MCs? They're supposed to be labelled as HC-Rs, HC-Ts, HC-Vs or whatever the slang is for Hyper Coasters that are under 200ft. They're obviously called Hyper Models in their stock.
@@MLDesigns Well It's obviously B&M LSM launch, when you look at the images of the track in the parking lot. But a Launch Wing Coaster at KD to me would be dopey. But if it's that they don't have them in stock, I can totally understand but a B&M Sit-down looping Launch Coaster would be a perfect fit for Kings Dominion

@@Tomtycoon this one’s 3,048ft. Allowing some room for error, I’d expect this to be between 3000 and 3100ft.
Is there any chance the ride can be taller than what I shown here?
It could, this version is 130ft tall but i could see it being 140ft or so. Would be surprised if it’s taller than that though
I don’t think height is of importance for the park. It’s going to be steps away from 305, so the park wants something different in the experience. I would be more concerned about the launch (Is it fast? And, near miss elements (are they scary?) Just my thoughts… I loved Volcano and it wasn’t that tall. It was just fun, thrilling, and unique.

I wish it was a standard lift hill, then use a launch to make the ride longer; or have 2 launches
