I know I am raising an ENTJ and ESTJ and I admire the thought process because I am the opposite. I love understanding all types and how we can become better people by just understanding each other.
I'm an ENTJ and it's nice to feel understood for once! Although, it seems like a lot of people think that ENTJs are not the "feeling" type, like they are emotionless. While it's common to have a "black-and-white" thinking pattern, it's important to remember that not every personality type is a "textbook" case... I've often done things that have hurt people's feelings without realizing in the moment that some people don't value constructive criticism. If you're an ENTJ, like me, you've probably experienced this too! It's okay, it's really just a matter of mindfulness and balance.. you know, keeping yourself in check! But please don't mistake us as cold.. we do care very deeply, and usually about meaningful solutions :) Thanks for reading! Have a great day 😀
1:33 this is true, we are very objective and pragmatic in our thinking. However, it fails to mention the bias from intuition (Ni), and its role in our decision making. Of course this is different than _emotional attachment_ as our intuition is auxiliary to our primary logical thinking (Te). We will definitely move forward quickly with plans we "feel" make more sense in favor of efficiency.
A healthy ENTJ is a person which is well in touch with their Ni function. The ENTJ who is open to the unknown, who has sometimes seemingly irrational but also inspiring visions. When they look for signs and symbols on their journey. They embrace they are just weird like many others, and they understand that sitting between two chairs can be alienating but also a huge gift. It is imporant to understand that perspective and attitude towards things determines a lot. And yet, they still have a good grasp on reality, on how things are, and they make their plans, ideas feasible and achievable. That is the true strength of an ENTJ imo. To break it down, the healthy ENTJ is more like an INTJ and vice versa. So both can get the best from each other.
Healthy ENTJ are also open-minded to criticism and ideas, look for different ways to improve themselves to the world, are strategical and practical, aren't easily manipulated because they express their feelings only to people they trust not to try emotional manipulation on them and even when someone try manipulation it is easily sensed by the ENTJ and rarely successful because of ENTJ's ability to always take important decisions from objective point of view! ENTJ take risks but always have a good plan and in case their plan fails their fast creative improvisation and thinking gets them out of the situation easily!

Wow!, you seriously have certain problems with INTJ s. They function very differently and by no means are they inferior to ENTJ s. In fact INTJ s are generally considered to be the most far sighted of all 16 types and much less control freaks than ENTJs. INTJs are brilliant visionaries and system builders. INTJs are confident about their vision (self righteous in your limited understanding) and plans because introverted intuition which is their primary function is very strong and is often right.INTJs are open to opinions different from theirs as well (provided they are logical).
