Miss Debbie Awh you are awesome. I love your hands on tutorials and your honest feedback about growing up in Jamaica. I am not from Jamaica but do appreciate and can relay to your experience with island life. You really followed through with your home economics class and can now educate many of us like myself who did not have a thorough home economics experience. I have made my Easter bun with the baking powder and it came out EXCELLENT thanks to your tutorial but I used Malt instead of stout or guiness but it is excellent and very tasty. Never worry about persons trying to distance themselves from their roots and upbringing because I am confident that they are following through with the tutorials on these local baking and cooking recipes. You are doing a phenomenal job teaching many persons like myself and I do appreciate your down to earth method of teaching. Love you lots from Canada Keep up the good.
Good morning to you and your Sis bulla and avocado 🥑 taste so good and glass of water make my day. You’ve done a great job making these spice cakes aka bulla😋
Hi Ms Debbie, thanks for the tip about using a heavy flour...I think that’s the trick in getting the correct texture. I will definitely try your method. A few days ago I was wondering if you had a video on bulla and you read my mind...this looks tasty thanks again
Yes Miss Debbie bulla and pear mek you grow 💇 😆 😆 I love bulla and 🇯🇲 🧀 only 🇯🇲 cheese because I cannot eat pear but nevertheless I love the spice bulla you make Thanks again for making something to eat after your meal
Deb these bullas brings me way back in days I would visit my grandparents in the country they would bring these back from the market- I’m talking about them days going on carts & horses to the market, straw basket an such things. Those were the days.
Hi Ms Debs, could you use coconut milk instead of cow's milk? My bulla back in the was the dry flaky bulla with pear, cheese, butter or just by itself. Mamameya!! Yummy!! I don't like the ones today.
This recipe reminds me of a song I used to sing as a child " bulla is a noun, big and round, soft and tender, little...when you take a bite you have to surrender, bulla!" 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for this recipe Ms Debs, bless 🙌
