    RPM I really like all of yall's videos but when yall do trucks like this I love it. This is a very nice build but I agree with Fran, this truck would do so much better on a nice drag pack setup and quiet exhaust with a cutout for when you really need to show out. Great build and Matt did a great job on the installation. Keep up the good work and videos. Thanks for the entertainment

      @newtonfirefly3584 2 года назад +2

      @@RaceProvenMotorsports Yes the KTR shirt looks great and Pat appreciates the advertisement too.
      It seems Fran mentioned "495" intentionally & purposely [like "Mexico"]. Clearly I-495 is the Wash,D.C. Beltway, I-695 the Baltimore Beltway which are not very close to Delaware. The main I-95 section in Delaware is I-295. Also the road signs above, seen at the end of the video, with Matt, show this too.
      So, though Fran mentioned New Castle Avenue and shows Lukens Dr [shop location street address] when he pick up Matt, it seems he wanted to adjust the highway specifically.
      Correct ? 🤔
      Still, this resultant Truck build with the TS 427 LT, 6.2 Intake, Pro-Charger, exhaust, fuel system, methanol, etc. clearly has massive torque, power and capability !
      😆
      Am certainly aware of the issue and dangers Fran mentions with a truck or any high performance vehicle 'throwing a drive shaft'. 😏
      It does seem a little strange for me to realize this level of concern, fear, thus refusal to test this truck in the higher gears. 🧐
      Certainly the drive shaft rotational speed [RPM] is relative to the transmission output rotational speed, thus less in lower gears compared with the engine rotational speed =>thus, the engine performance can be measured, adjusted accordingly, though the transmission through to the wheels are rotating [spinning] slower, thus lower torque and power for them.🤓
      =>Also, Fran has seen numerous part, component failures including drive shafts throughout his more than 17 years at the track.😏🤓
      Thus, also Fran, maybe Matt, also Eric and Kyle would know the basis, 'culprit' cause of these type of failures too -> principally U-Joint failures, metal fatigue, sometimes u-joint-shaft separation or the shaft itself, along with the results with these failures.
      =>Thus, Fran and others also know these usually occur not just with high rotational speeds, but under the forces -> loads, duress, traction at the track compared with the low friction, 'free wheeling' with a wheel or hub dynometer 🤓
      -> unless the parts, components, etc. are already damages, worn or near failure -> thus, the smaller loads combined with the higher speeds can result in catastrophic failures -> Prior, through examination, assessment, evaluation will certainly aid, assist, help and are beneficial to minimize such potential damage, breakage, failures -> for safety purposes too.🤓
      Such, as with engine dynometer measurements, they are done, performed within a room separated from human for safety, there could certainly be a simple structure erected around the vehicle to contain any parts, components, pieces, etc. that would be leased during such catastrophic failures, thus projected, 'thrown', 'flying' =>thus, significantly increase safety.🤓
      ->My points are NOT that such safety precautions with building an enclosure are necessary, should be required or even actually suggesting or recommending it either ->though it may be a good idea to consider. 🤔
      My points ares mostly, about the conditions, causes, mechanics of such a failure and the thus the locations these occur.🧐
      Also, If Fran or any shop location, testing facility owner, etc. are concerned about such safety, there are simple precautions and solutions. 😏
      KP, also am enjoying the varying posted vlogs, including this type of more lengthy, in-depth, detailed, presentation. Many seem to clearly enjoy some of the banter, interrelational communications between the staff also with Fran and You [KP], sometimes Bill too. In this video which showed a camera recording of both Fran and KP inside the truck during a dynometer testing especially with KP's reactions are highly entertaining, enjoyable increasing awareness. 😄
      We haven't seen KP or Fran out at the racetrack for some time and didn't see many facial or verbal reactions from KP during her drag racing runs either. As is common, the driver has more awareness, of the machine as the operator, thus less surprised and reactionary during, until afterwards. 😏
      All The Best and Much Success in Your Quest, Health, Happiness and Well Being. 😊
      Sincerely ☺

      Look at each engine actual specifications for bore, stroke, cylinder diameter, displacement per cylinder, total displacement, compression ratio, etc.
      Most of the actual total displacement specifications are slightly less than the common metric, liter or cubic inch displacement label.

      @@bmwe30guy Your number are close to actual.
      The actual displacement for each engine is specified precisely, including bore, stroke, compression ration, etc.
      the calculations are more accurately ~ 61 c.i/L
      =>Thus 5.7 L = 347.7 c.i.
      -> 5.3 L = 323.3 c.i.
      conversion basis
      => 2.54 cm/in [precisely, exactly]
      => 2.54^3= 16.387064 cc/c.i
      =>0.061023744 cu. in/cc - 1000 cc/L => 61.023744 c.i/L
      => 5.3 L = 323.4258432 c.i.
      => 5.7 L = 347.8353408 c.i.
      => 6.0 L = 366.142464 c.i.
      => 6.2 L = 378.3472128 c.i.
      => 6.6 L = 402.7567104 c.i.
      => 7.0 L = 427.166208 c.i.
      => 7.3 L = 445.4733312 c.i.
      => 7.45 L = 454.6268928 c.i.
      540 c.i. = 8.849014574 L
      etc.
      The precise numbers are listed in the specifications.
      The Ford 302 c.i. was labeled and marketed as a 5.0 L, as was the GM 305 c.i.
      Similarly with many 5.7 L labeled, marketed engines, they vary slightly in displacement from ~ 347 c.i. to 350 & 351 c.i.
      All of the NASCAR version have the same displacement and bHP, via the strict rules.
      ->all 350 lbs, 350 c.i., 955 bHP, N/A, same high compression, carburetor, intake air flow, heads, valve specs, etc. - GM/Chevy, Ford, Toyota, Mopar [returning 2023].
      Indy and F1 each has their similarly strict rules, as do NHRA, IHRA, etc.

      @@RaceProvenMotorsports your right I was thinking 5.3 manifold swapped to ported 6.2 manifold would be 50 to 60 more with that much more air moving and it revving that high, but having the manifold ported would be a solid 30 more I’ve seen them pick up around 20 to the wheel on Heads cam and bolt on N/A trucks so I can only imagine the need for more air on an forced induction set up
