I recently bought the M Spec and have had it to the range three times . It held exact zero all three trips and I really like the large field of view it seems less taxing on my eyes than staring down a tube. The shake awake , 12 hour auto shut off and extended battery life were a big factor in buying it. I have been a Holosun fan for a long time , I own two of their 1x6 accs scopes and one 1x8 , also their 2.5 x prism scope . I think they are a fine product, my first 1x6 is five years old now and works like new.
When testing parralax always aim at something past 10 or so yards. Ideally 25. Becsuse thats when its parralax free. The glass on that door can mess up the test. Try it on a wall 2 feet in front of you then try it at 15 feet. You will notice a huge exaggerated difference.
@Meester Dinglefritz Cheapo user here, I have been using the cheapo on AliExpress, not Amazon tho, little over 2 year now, suckered work, no issue, just little adjustments here and there, but serve me well!
@@tychau100 @Meester Dinglefritz : Amazon just a shipping company bro. They don't sell anything. Lmao you can get everything from Eotech to Thermal scope and Leopold...ijs
The parallax is horrible on the cheap sight that circle dot was bouncing like a basketball on the steps. I use it for my home defense 5.7 arp tho where parallax won’t be too important at 10-15 foot ranges with back ups irons
At least Sight Mark labels theirs properly. Only ones I’ve seen that clearly state PARALLAX CORRECTION PAST 10 YARDS. Lol. All advertising parallax free but that’s not possible. Instead the higher end optics either have adjustments built in or the reticle is set to infinity creating less room for error at longer distances.
I have the 60$ sight mark rebranded as a Firefield. It blows. But in the day time works mint. Night. Not so good. But my friend has a holosun and the difference is insane for the clearness of the dot. I’ll probably not by a 300$ sight anytime soon. But I’m getting one eventually
Yes, people are hard on the Sightmark Optics. I feel they are a great bang for your buck sight for someone who is into target shooting. I prefer my Holosuns just because the dot is much crisper to my eyes. I was considering picking up a M spec just for the fact that I believe zero could be achieved and kept much easier. Changing recticles manually screws with zero unfortunately. If you just set it and forget it, the R and A specs are great. The M spec would be the best bet going with a Sightmark. I'd be willing to try one out 🤑
I bought the chinesium CV life for shits and giggles. It eats the recoil of my ar-15 SBR even on full auto and maintains zero. The issue it dropping it. There isn’t any rubber sealant holding the glass in just friction with the frame it seems. One drop that glass starts physically moving around. In short the stupid cheap Chinese call of duty looking optic is good for plinking
Thanks for showing what they look like. How does that work? You put the red dot on the spot and... what? Is that like the front iron sight? I dont get it.
Parallax occurs when the target and reticle are on different planes within the optic. It results in a displacement between the intended target and reticle.
@ParadoxZer0 Thanks for your help but I still dont get it. I understand what parallax is, but I dont have an idea of how this sight is used. Do you have to align the dot with some point in the glass AND your target?
I ordered the CV one a while back, put it on a Ruger PCC 9mm. Wouldn’t hold zero at all even with something having that little recoil, returned it through Amazon the next day. I wouldn’t buy one again.
Ok, thanks ,but this is what you can see trought an holosight stopped on the table, and ok first one is better than others 2 but during the use on a carbine? Can keep the quality under an hummering of 5.56,7.62? This is the real question. Obviously is just an question and not contriversy thanks for your vdo
Thanks for that. It's amazing how few videos actually show the view through the sight. I've looked at loads. Should have come here first!
Man your channel helps so much when shopping for different optics! Thanks for the reviews and the first person POV
Thank you 😊

Nice job, looked like the sightmark had the least paralax
Great video! Thanks for showing all 3!
very good quicky vid to show what many complain about...thank you sir

For the money, the cheapie was pretty good
the cheapo Red Dot look better than both the sightmark or Holosun
Too bad it's a cheap piece of shit.
It’s not how it looks through an iPhone, it’s how it holds zero, how durable is it and how long will it function properly.

I want to see the holosun vs sight mark m-spec comparison.

Simple and useful. Thank you.

I like the chepo
Much appreciated
Holosun looks the best
That's what I ended up keeping, I'm a big Holosun fan 👍
They are ALL Made in the Same Factory in China, they just Name them Different!
Bro is braindead
I think the r-spec held up well against the holosun

Hey! Isnt stupid! It is just economic effective.
Yooooo is that spongebob in the background?
that $50 dollar sight didnt look bad at all
but the question is: is it water proof? Does it withstand to recoil? whats the battery life? is it shock resistant? class clarity? Brightness?
@@rebem2467Brightness on them is pretty good, they suck at night tho because the glass is rather dark,

Would you recommend that $50 site on a 12 gauge.
I returned it, I wouldn't recommend it on anything other than a 22lr honestly.

Thanks, I just put a romeo 5 on my AR, I think I well just go with the ghost ring sights my Mossberg 930 came with. Thanks ✌
The point is, hold it zero after shooting? I‘m not sure about the 50$ sight.
I was trying to show parallax. I returned it before shooting with it, kept the holosun 510C.

@@richreynolds8296 Amazon I know for selling Chinese replicas. Try one from a store instead brother.
if the enemy shoots your optic, will the glass shatter into your eyes and face? blinding u ? or xploding your brain ?
Bro price lots hai
I see no difference between the 3
Manufacturers set the reticles to infinity giving less room for parallax error. There is no such thing as parallax free in red dot holographic sight
sightmark and firefield are literal shit tier, not even worthy of a pellet gun.
Holosun makes a good Optic for the price.
