@smokeyboyz I made the flanges myself , the engines arent the same .I bought inch and a half mandrel u bends for the charge pipes . you can turn the pump up until it makes a nice light smoke under a hard load and that should be a good place to start .
@hondarideralex I am currently in the process of installing an intercooler , the IATs were 150F . I am running 10 psi and it loves it , really makes clean power all through the rev range .
@2uvictory I think a harley or optima would be the best option , if I would have known the engine was going to make the power it does I would have went with a six speed .

I've been wanting to build a diesel bike for a while now and my idea was a kubota tractor engine on a honda shadow or harley. If you don't mind me asking, did the pulley on the output shaft match perfectly from the vtwin to the diesel engine?

Hey I'm in the process of putting a turbo on a 722 thats going in my max IV 6x6. Im torn between the rhf3 and the td015. td015 is smaller so should spool better but I'm not sure its needed. How does the turbo respond on your engine? What did you install it in? Looks really clean how you mounted it!
looking from the radiator side it runs clockwise, watch my other vids of the engine running you will be able to see it better. Why do you think your engine runs the opposite direction?
Hi guys I have a kubota d722 and it seems to be hard to get a starter motor for it as it seems to run opposite to other kubota engines does youre motor run anti clock wise looking from the the radiator side if so it is the same as mine, was a bit hard tell on the video but it looked that way cheers wally
Tony Bain im not the maker of this video, but on the injector pump there is a little cap you can take off and back out the screw that was under the cap for more fuel.
What would cause this engine to run away I'm having that issue with mine it's on a mt50 I do see a gasket leak at the fuel management system were the cams are I think thats what it is called.. would that cause it to run away.? Thank you
Best I know that would definitely cause a run away. Also check your mechanical governor if it is broken it won’t stop your engine from revving as far as possible because it is a mechanical fuel system it will just keep pushing more fuel to keep up with the rpm

18hp stock and I would say over 30hp now
These are industrial engines not really a lot of hp but the torque is there and last for 10 to 15k hours

It will Idle very low but its not good for oiling and it will vibrate more.

@propanemower13 look to the right of the starter you will see the turbo oil feed line going to the port .
@THREEtoLIFE yes the pump is turned up , the turbo is an IHI RHB3 from ebay.
pressure sensor hole , OHC for performance without question.

@smokeyboyz quarter inch flatbar for most and half inch for the adapter from turbo to manifold
Where did you install the oil drain on the engine block for the turbo? Did you drill a hole in the oil pan?

All precision work was done by me, although I did have a grunt help with a few no brainer things.
These engines are very high compression 22:1. How much boost are you going to run?

No its not spooling here, it makes 10psi when the engine is loaded.

Nah, I guess I could get more out from a OHC Lombardini diesel... But still not bad with twice the power increase :)

The oil supply is tapped in at the oil pressure sending unit and I welded an npt fitting in the top of the oil pan for the return.
