Great information, it is now the 18th and I received my TAD 2024 notice in the mail yesterday. I have a friend that is on your list and told me about the ransomware and your services. The crazy thing on my notice is that my market value went down $30k from 2023, but my appraised value went up $35K! Hoping to hear more before I submit a protest this year Chandler

Any idea what's happening with the TAD web page? It's complete garbage ever since they went to this new look, and the property search/lookup function hasn't worked for a month. When you call them, IF THEY ANSWER, you just get a nonsensical "run around" answer. TAD is so disappointing on many levels.

That is a GREAT questions. Actually, there is. Its free. Tarrant recognizes the risks, so they offer this tool to monitor your deed records for fraud: www.tarrantcountytx.gov/en/county-clerk/real-estate-records/property-fraud-alert.html
The only thing I have a different take on is where you said being Republican or Democrat won't matter when it comes to the new board. That's the way it SHOULD be, we are also told the same thing concerning who we put on our local city council seats. You can still tell their affiliation based on how they feel issues should be resolved and that's where the unfairness starts. So while you may not vet someone based on having a D or R, please throw out a question or two to all of them for the videos so we can see how they would respond to the same issue. My vote will lean based on their response.
