- Hey, how's it going everyone?! I'm Phlinger Phoo. Today we are going to discuss the Pyromane, recently released on Ark: Survival Ascended The Center map and a very fun ridable mount. From how to tame it and what it's abilities are, we'll discuss everything you need to know about it.

Introducing the first of a new series of Fantastic Tames for ARK: Survival Ascended: the Pyromane! Owners of one of this new class of creatures gain access to a wondrous array of useful abilities!
The Pyromane can dynamically transform from a tiny shoulder-mounted kitten to a full-size rideable lion! When shoulder-mounted as a kitten, it can be used as a flamethrower. Then toss the Pyromane to become a full-sized lion, which you can ride across lava fields and command to set fire to your enemies. This formidable feline can explosively dash through targets, leaving burning fire trails in its wake while drinking in the flames of fiery foes to fuel its fearsome final form!
This versatile feline can cook raw meat to perfection and keep your jerky fresh as you travel together. Your fantastical friend even fuels forges, proving its utility in every situation. Whether it takes the form of a majestic predator or a loyal shoulder-mount, the Pyromane will make a scorching addition to your army of powerful tames!

A Fun Fact: if you somehow falling off from your flyer from a very high height, you can transform the pryo mane back to lion form and use the flame leap to minimize the fall damage. For me i hardly noticed it doesn't damage it when doing so. But still low fall damage

11:09 yes it does have a flamethrower attk...i see u never looked at that right side flame icon below the fire setting 3....look how it got lit up and filled a little once it ate that turtle, it's actually the fuel for the flamethrower i believe...then wistle at targets
Seems like a good caving mount. Hoping they bring back shadowmanes soon.

Did you know that they can be found on scorched earth inside the wyvern trench and they could be pick up by a wyvern
Hello I know this is weird but a wyvern is the easiest way you can pick them up and take them where you want and they can tank the damage really well AND it only takes 3-4 bites depending on level to get into taming range.
My wyvern can’t seem to pick them up. I probably have to pay to pick them up. Ark is just gonna be full of creatures on your map that you can’t access in any way……smh
Carbos,mammoths,and racers are tanky and perfect to tame these. I took mine to the bottom of snow biome with mammoths and rhinos

Ive tried every single combo of buttons on xbox and it still wont absorb flames 😐 ive used all the buttons it says to but nothing works
They have the breeding range of a shoulder pet...
I’m kinda new to Ark. so, do you know the console buttons for when you say control right click, etc. I bought the pack, but seems like it’s gonna take me a looooooong time to get this tame
LT for ability 1, for the melee, crouch button for ability 2, in rare cases LB or RB for ability 3, A for jump or ability 4.
Question does it smelt metal if it did I think it would be huge and it kinda would make sense

If you breed a baby and it does not have the stats you want does it explode when you kill it?
What is the bloody cltrl-Right CLick keybind???? I have changed all of mine, so that is not working. I need the keybind name.
I am a bit disappointed that you didnt mention anything about the pay to win/ pay to play mechanic that this seems to be inviting.
Also I legitimately laughed out loud when you called it a shadowmane at the very end, since everyone is complaining it's just a reskin of a shadowmane

Can you do a video on breeding? I tried and the baby came out wild and I couldn't claim it, was really weird. Don't know if anyone else is having this same problem?

Guys it’s easy to tame even when you just spawned in aslong as ur close to the beach craft some spears go into the ocean and make him lose his fire and keep stabbing him untill u can ride try stay close to the shore but deep enough water to be safe once half health rude him and find dinos and kill u don’t need much to tame it’s very easy

Someone said that taming effectiveness gets hurt by absorbing & it’s better to kill. Not sure how true this is, any details?
Where did you find oil
I can’t find it in ascended
Currently having an issue with taming them where I dont have access to the ctrl+ abilities because its literally blank. Anyone know of any fixes for this? Playing on PC,
Ive, rebound the "pistol whip" action in game,
Ive used the "restore all settings" and "restore Keybinding."
also if the fix is in the ini's please mention what specific setting id need to tweak because ive been looking them over and nothings working.

Seems like a lazily made creature to me. Like they needed something to market to the masses and they threw this together. I don't really like this new concept of pay for new dinosaurs. I think we should be careful as the players of supporting this too much. It has the possibility to snowball with snail doing this with all the new dinosaurs in the future.
It was a mod first. They had nothing to do with it

Frankly I’m surprised they didn’t do this in evolved but it’s something I expected when the premium modes and bobs tales came into the game it’s a gaming company they’ll try different ways to make money from there players

Why are they called $5 tames ?
you can't tame these unless you buy the DLC for them (which is $5). Similar to Bob's Tall Tales.
This isn't everything i need to know, bad title.
I need to know best food for baby pyro. It seems to me cooked meat gives more food than raw, opposite to others but hard to tell when it's bugged and laggy.
