Love drinking my Jack n Coke while BBQ’ing. Listening to Frank Sanatra and Dean Martin remembering the days working inNew York Night Clubs. Andrè from N.Y.
Pommesjons !: Try Old Pulteney also, best malt in the world in 2012. If in notion for an exotic, I highly recommend Suntory or a Yamazaki still water, those are exceptional.
My favorite activity while smoking a cigar is sitting and talking to my wife/family or friends, I am lucky that most my friends enjoy smoking a cigar so it makes it easy to never smoke alone. Last time my best buddy and I had a cigar, we actually enjoyed it with a Cab from Paso Robles, very tasty. Keep up the good work!
For me, eagle rare and my father TB series on back porch with some awesome music is a great way to cap the day. My wife won't smoke, she gets headaches from smoke, but I'm slowly getting her into bourbon and she's liking it more than she thought she would, which is awesome. I see a lot of summer nights chilling with a good bourbon and chatting with my bride of nearly 30 years.
I can dig what you got going on here Jeremy. Im like a year into my love of cigars and I had my first few lanceros recently because of how highly you spoke of them. I gotta agree 100%. They are fantastic. Definitely gonna start smoking more of them, more often. I find myself nodding my head often while watching your videos and I appreciate how genuine you are. Nothing bugs me more than to watch a tool regurgitate popular opinion, and theres a few of them on here. Keep on keeping it real and im gonna keep watching.
Dude Your videos Inspired Me To Buy Every Cigars & Whiskey Bottles Every Paycheck 😂🤷🏾♂️ I Love My Life, And I’m Only 26 That Been Shown The Way By The Best Their Is Buddy Thanks For Your Videos 💯💯💯💯💯
Oh boyos!!! What a nice thing to be able to afford Islay Water of life. Here in Brazil all I can do for the moment is The Famous Grouse Smoky Black... lol. Hope I can get a Laphroaig 10 in the near future! Slàinte mhath!
Dude, I love your channel. You are always straight forward, upfront and personable and you always get your point across with no BS. I always seem to be interested in what you have going if it's cigars (which I love) and whisky or building $#!t. I love your smoking room ( I hope to have one someday). Thank you for what you do. Keep up the great work!
My Brother- don’t cut it but send a shishcabob squer a few inches thru the center. It will draw and burn fantastic. Churchill did this to his cigars as I understand. I like to celebrate the harvest of a wild turkey, or watch a wood fire burn. Mezmorizing! Thanks for the vid.
Lagavulin and Talisker Dark Storm are presently my favourites. Sitting on the porch and chatting with my wife is my favourite pastime when smoking a cigar.
after 8@ or so heart attacks and a quad bypass my smoking days are down to once in a blue MOON...I have not drank liquor in 20 years...al that being said...THANK YOU for this video.....boy did I need that diversion from all that is going on today( todays date 5-16-2020 )Thanks again...love the vid.....will watch way more than once or twice
One thing I do and have done since I started smoking cigars is I take the band off before I even light it up, if it can slide off or peel off I'll do it, if it doesn't I'll keep it on, I just like looking at the band while smoking esp My Father, Alec Bradley, Rocky Patel & Gurkha. Love your vids keep em coming
Just found your channel last week. Excellent! Big fan of yours because your a Eagle Rare drinker. I have been drinking it for 5 years now and its my favorite bourbon. I just watched your cigar humidor review and see you have Mark Twain maduro. I found them last month and love it. I've been smoking cigars for 40 years and glad to see you young whippersnappers carrying on the tradition. Keep up the great work!
I agree with using A ZIPPO. ZIPPO has been with me since 1967 (Vietnam). Yea it has a little after taste, but cigar flavor arrives within a few puffs. I love your channel since discuss a variety of subjects. Keep up the work.
Eagle Rare is a great bourbon. Always have a bottle on hand. Great with a cigar or just sipping when friends are visiting. Was born in Ky also. Up in the mountains where they make moonshine. Great channel, glad I found it.
Florida guy here. I typically walk around my yard with a cigar & whiskey or coffee. I have a pretty good variety of palms and tropical fruit trees. Just brought home a store rolled cigar from one of the Tampa cigar shops. Lagavulin is my favorite scotch, but I'm out, so I'll go with some Yellow Spot I have on hand. You've motivated me to pick up another bottle of Lagavulin, though. For me, it pairs well with cigars. I've searched for Eagle Rare, but can't find any for sale in my area :^( I can pick up basic cigar flavors like leather, wood, floral, earthy, but never the wacky ones other reviewers talk about. Not saying they don't exist, probably my palate isn't sensitive enough. Really enjoyed the video!
Jeremy...thanks for spoiling us with all these videos recently! You've definitely made up for the weeks we've had to wait. Absence makes the heart grow fonder right?! The variety of content is very interesting.
Just so happens that I’m smoking a cigar and drinking some Weller when this popped up in YT. Your Pavada reviews is what got me into cigars. THANK YOU!
If your cigar has a tight draw you can fix it. Don’t throw it out. All you have to do is get a draw too to help you. Watch Tim’s videos on cigar daily. Love his vibe
I'm 24 but I'm an old soul, my generation usually smokes weed and questions me how can I enjoy something if I don't inhale it. So I try to introduce cigars to them. But I'm happy there's a beautiful cigar lounge that was recently built around my area in NYC. I head there with a bottle of bourbon bullet, a book (Currently reading Wise Guy by Nicholas Pileggi. If some people aren't aware the book is the basis for the 1990 Academy Award-winning film Goodfellas directed by Martin Scorsese) and of course I tune to the RUclips channel DonsBlues for background Blues music. And if I have extra time, I'm very glad I stumbled upon your page Jeremy because if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have known about the Privada cigar club. But I watch your videos and enjoy the last 20-30 min smoke as you are enjoying yours. Thank you and looking forward to more videos. P.S. I'd love to recommend you my personal favorite that's getting out there right now, Artesano Del Tobacco, Viva La Vida Cigar by AJ Fernandez.
That’s awesome brother! Glad you are enjoying the hobby. Also happy to hear you are digging Privada! Man, I look forward to every box from them, great stuff!! 👍🏻
Pretty much every bourbon from Buffalo Trace is delicious. Eagle Rare is no exception. Can’t wait to have a smoke and watch the live stream. Great video.
Absolutely spot on regarding the Lagavulin. The first time I had an islay scotch I really had to get used to that antiseptic note. Kinda like chewing on a Band-Aid. Sounds gross but I really like the smokiness. Cigar & whiskey. This is how I enjoy my weekend every weekend.
i personally can't stand lagavulin, to me it smells and tastes like an old smokey leather sofa. but for smoky scotch lovers this is certainly a good option. eagle rare on the other hand is a GREAT choice, i love that stuff. 10y single barrel, incredible value! lovely taste, and even the bottle is beatiful 😍
Newer subscriber here. I really enjoyed this video. You asked what we like to do when we smoke a cigar. Well, I live and travel with my wife in a small motor home. When we get somewhere we're going to stay for a while I set up my 110 in. movie screen outside and we'll watch movies after sundown. We'll have a little fire going and pop some jiffy pop. That's when I love to break out a cigar and some Knob Creak small batch and sit back and enjoy the film. None of this is essential to me enjoying a good cigar, but, it is my favorite time to smoke.
21 year old Glengoyne and a Cohiba (Esplendidos) is my go to! If you haven't tried Glengoyne then you need to add it to your list! Even the 10 year one is like nectar!
When I have a stick it is usually with a Guinness, whiskey, scotch, rum or a coffee. I mostly have it as a me time to relax and enjoy. Sometime watch these videos of cigar or drink reviews or just listen to some music. Nice time to relax and decompress.
I was not into scotch until a bartender in Salzburg Austria talked.me.into lagavulin 16 and I friggin loved it. I was straight bourbon drinker and not very diverse in my scotch. You bet I bought a bottle when I got home.
New bourbon I found here in KY is from New Riff Distillery, their regular bourbon, rye, and single barrel are all amazing. The single barrel is what I had last time I had a cigar. Sayin hey from Lex! Love the content.
Was at the liquor store about a year ago and saw eagle rare on the shelf. Figured I'd give it a try and now its one of my favorite whiskeys of all time.
Excellent review, and what a beautiful cigar. In terms of scotch, Lagavulin is definitely a good scotch, but not always the best to pair with a cigar, it tends to overpower often times (IMO). Try a Highland park 12, or even an Aberfeldy 12, I find them to be a good match with maduro cigars.
That’s a good way to describe that taste. I bought a dram of Johnny Walker blue. It tasted medicinal too. More specifically like the smell of a new bandaid with iodine. When I described it to my dad he thought I was nuts.
I agree with the other guys.. it’s nice having a video buddy to have a bourbon and cigar with.. although I would love to have a real person your the next best thing.. great video thanks for company feels like I’m hanging out in your cigar room with ya..
As a woman I am more red wine and cigarettes but I really like your style. I am also surprised some people were so opposed about ice for the whiskey I just call that on the rocks. Nothing like a good drink and a smoke to take the edge off the day.
Eagle rare is an amazing bourbon for the price. I got a bottle of dalemore scotch for Christmas and if you haven't tried it I would highly recommend it. A bit pricey but unless you drink it like makers, it's a great cigar scotch!
My cigar time is my down time for the day. I like to sit outside have a drink or two, smoke my cigar and maybe watch a podcast, and just enjoy my time trying to get all of the tasting notes that I can.
Love the channel and reviews. Just ordered the cigar bible. Cant wait for it. Can never go wrong with whiskey or coffee with a stick. I love Jameson Cold Brew with a stick. Best both worlds with coffee in whiskey...especially a coffee infused stick like a Nub Triple Roast or Cafeina Dark Roast by Lucky cigar. Great video Jeremy. Man shit someday is perfect as I am watching this on a Thursday. Sláinte!
Can’t wait to do that sumday, youve inspired me to open my own cigar & whiskey room in the future. I use to be a whiskey guy few years back I really should get back to it. Is so chill with a nice lo-fi and a book to read while enjoying a glass of HIBIKI 21.
As always great video! I totally agree on the Eagle Rare....I have to drive damn near three hours to get it and it is worth every mile! On the Lagavulin 16....that is definitely one of my favorites!. If I may make a suggestion....in my humble opinion...try the Oban 14. Little lighter on the smoke, little creamier and I find find, pairs really well with the type of cigar you were enjoying. Take care, stay safe and have a great week!
The Balvenie 12 Doublewood has a sweet finish like you like in bourbon. It's also not very peaty. Oh, and best thing about Eagle Rare... it is THE best bourbon for the money. When I lived in Louisville for two years, I was introduced to Eagle Rare. It was less than $40 a bottle BUT they sold out very quickly.
My kind of review. The paper says earth, leather and peppermint. Me taking a puff, exhauling and nope none of those flavors but damn good cigar. I like the honesty and not a snob :-)
There's one single malt I love, is Talisker... And I don't smoke, but the way I love to drink that malt is when you served in your glass, cover with another bigger and blow the smoke of the cigar and let rest around three or four minutes and will be smokier... Delicious!!
If you like sweeter whiskys, You could try those Scotches: Aberlour 12 (40%) or Aberlour A'bunadh (61% Sherry) and Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 12 ( 46% Port cask finish). They are great Scotches and I like to have them with A cigar... Great work as usual...
That medicinal flavor you are picking up is probably the Peat. Mmmmmmm Imagine a quiet, clean, algae-covered pond in the deep woods. If you have ever come across something like that try to remember what it smelled like.
My indulge my cigar regimen on Friday & Saturday nights. On a hot summer night in the Phoenix area like tonight I'll sit out on my back porch and enjoy either a full flavor cigar like a Partagas Black Label with a rye whiskey like Old Overholt. Or a medium bodied cigar like an Arturo Fuente 858 with a scotch. Or a medium flavor smooth-bodied cigar like an Oliva Serie G with a bourbon like Bulleit. Weekend nights like that make the whole week's worth of stress bearable.
Love your channel Jeremy, just a dude chilling to a cigar and bourbon. Awesome man cave and good vibes. I can definitely see myself chilling in your cave.
Lagavulin 16 is an absolute classic Islay Scotch. Cigar's best friend. A little distilled water will really open it up. The 8 year is a little more rowdy, but still Lagavulin. I pair it with strong cigars...
I can't finish a cigar without getting a little on the sick side. I can smoke a pipe and no problem. I like smoking with friends. By myself, I smoke on my deck over looking the lake and mountains. Very relaxing. I've heard great things about Buffalo Bourbon. When I was in FL last month I couldn't find it at the ABC...Nice Vid!👊
Cracking video Jeremy 👍. Get yourself a bottle of Auchentoshan Three Wood if you have not tried it. Think you would really love it and can imagine it pairing wonderfully well with a quality cigar. The distillery is located just up the road from me. Have a great weekend.
The medicinal flavour comes from the peat in the Lagavulin, however very vew scotches have this note. If you like the Smokey character and don’t like medicinal iodine, I would recommend reaching for Highland Park 12 or Talisker 10 which are not so heavily peated as the Islay scotches.
Really enjoyed the review, Jeremy. I'm like you...I don't have the palate to really pick up on some of the subtle flavors that the pros discuss. But, man, I'm trying, ha. Totally agreeing with you on the Eagle Rare. Delicious bourbon. Oh, also gotta thank you for turning me on to Privada about two or three months ago. I have received two packets now and love to take one of them and sit on the porch and read Brian's review. Otherwise, I'm smoking one out in the woods while riding one of the horses. Life is good!!
Thanks Mark glad you enjoyed the vid! Also good to hear your digging the club!! I have enjoyed every box they have sent me. Riding horses is a good time. Had some myself when I was a kid. Good memories 👍🏻
My favorite activity while smoking a cigar is sitting on my front porch rocking chairs with my wife watching the sunset over the trees and the dogs run around the property.

Who else here would want to have a glass of bourbon and cigar with this man???

One of the most underrated channels on here. Cinematography on point 👌
Thanks Adil! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
My favorite place for cigars is my back porch which looks out over the water here in Tampa. The best time is during a good Florida Rain!
I’m with ya there. Nice Florida afternoon shower and a cigar is a good time 👍🏻
absolutely!
Smoking as I type here in south Florida on my patio looking at my pool enjoy 👍.

When I'm smoking a cigar, I'm typically watching a cigar channel. It's always been a thing for me to really get into cigars when I want a cigar.
A cigar with coffee watching the sun come up makes for the perfect start to the day.
Chuck W I look forward to trying this
Lagavulin 16 y. Is one of my Favorite malts out there.
Your Taste is good Sir.
Pommesjons ! I love it
love it too. Just too smokey to enjoy with a cigar IMO. smoke + smoke = too much smoke LOL Lag on the rocks is awesome!

Lagavulin sets the bar for witch all Scotch is measured. A sweeter Scotch worth trying is Dalwhinnie or Balvenie

Eagle rare is an amazing bourbon for the price. I got a bottle of dalemore scotch for Christmas and if you haven't tried it I would highly recommend it. A bit pricey but unless you drink it like makers, it's a great cigar scotch!
When you think of a man you think of this man
i bought lagavulin 16 a month ago and i should say its one of the best whiskys i have ever tried...
Siers you're awesome man. I'm sitting here smoking a Rare Swisher Sweet and a drinking a very smooth and pristine E&J x.o. Brandy
Never smoke a cigar before, but your videos enhanced my experience of smoking cigarettes. Please keep it up, and make more about cigar and whiskey 👍👍👍
You might want to try the miniature hand rolled cigars ,they are smaller in the time it takes up to a cigarette. They are good introduction to cigars.
My cigar time is my down time for the day. I like to sit outside have a drink or two, smoke my cigar and maybe watch a podcast, and just enjoy my time trying to get all of the tasting notes that I can.
Great video. There’s some great scotch whiskies that would hit your taste preference. Glenallachie or Glenfarclas would rock your world. Slainte
Love the whole ritual thing. Makes me want to try it out.
Sláinte!
As a new cigar smoker I really enjoyed this video. Im going to have to give this one a try
One of my new favorite things to do while smoking a cigar is to fish... Super relaxing 👍
Thanks, I’ll try it out for sure👍🏻
Most chill videos man
I'm having a New World Cameroon before work, usually when I'm smoking I read(last me a hour). Great review. 👍
Ah, lagavulin 16. You picked one of THE best scotches out there. It happens to be my favorite!
Thanks brother! Mountains are one thing I miss living here is Florida. They are beautiful to look at. It is flat as a pancake here 😄
I came across your channel today and I have to say I love the vibe your videos give off. I’m for sure going to subscribe
Lagavulin is truly campfire in a bottle. Simply amazing Scotch.
when I smoke I enjoy drinking coffee or a nice glass of whiskey with a good book.
I now need to go get me some of that Bourbon. Sounds right up my alley. Great video man!
my only place to smoke cigars is my front patio. Love to drink a nice glass of wine and read or catch up on the news. Great video!
I just give you a thumbs up at the very moment when you said to turn the video off you rock honestly bud!,
Cracking video Jeremy 👍.
👍Yes!!!
EAGLE RARE-is everything you said it was- it the whiskey that got me started in bourbouns- will always love it! dope vid btw
Dude, filming is just awesome!
Enjoyable vid. Suggested scotch for future video, Bunnahabhain Cruach mhona. I loved the smoke, citrus and white pepper. Cheers.
Great vid. I just bought my first bottle of eagle rare, pairing it with a My Father no.3
Would love to see more of these kind of vids. Subscribed!
Camacho has a line of barrel aged cigars that whiskey/bourbon drinkers might like. I've only tried one variety but liked it a lot
