Little tip, instead of bending the plywood the way you did. try soaking it in water for about a day. then bend it and nail it on let it dry and it will look a lot better from the side.

I know this is an old video, but if you ever need to smooth an edge of Granite, you can use sandpaper/skate griptape to sand it to a general finish. Once you have the basic rough sanding, use some fine grit sandpaper, and it will grind like butter again. You don't need a polished granite surface for it to grind/slide well! I've done it many times in the past. I used to lay tile/stone so I could get ahold of scrap material from job sites pretty easily.

I know this vid is old but i love it so i always watch it but its fine that the halfpipe isnt level with the ground because in actual skateparks they arent and it super fun to ollie on and manual the whole thing

i find the best way to bend ply wood is to cut notches out of the wood then put it in hot water and the wood should go on nice!

Concrete parks are less than 100$ so if you are on a budget do that but make sure you have solid wheels so they don't wear out too fast

There are trillions of more efficient ways to bend plywood. But I'd recommend saving time and money by buying sheets of laminate they sell specifically for countertops where they curve. It's a hard material and bendable but you can still cut it with heavy scissors
