Hey the fingerboarders worked hard on learning new tricks
I look through the comments and it's sad to see the people that somehow think it's weird for people to spend their free time getting good at something like finger boarding instead of spending free time "getting good at" sitting on their ass watching TV or playing video games.
I dream of a day when society will stop shitting out cookie cutter humans beings who simply try to fit into the societal norm because they don't want to be labeled like they so hypocritically label others.

luis sandoval Nothing I love video games. I'm just saying it's more socially acceptable to sit on your ass and play video games in your free time than it is to do this when it shouldn't be any more weird or abnormal than playing video games.

Aight is time to take my tech decks out of the box and try to improve my skills again haha
Actually got a fingerboard recently (can't use a real board anymore because of joint issues, sadly) and always come back to this video whenever I get frustrated. Even beyond just coming here for some motivation, this vid encouraged me to even get a board after I saw how nice the setups were and looked into it (in all honesty I was unaware there were any other fingerboards than Tech Decks). Ended up getting a 29mm Berlinwood with some BRTs (and boy do the BRTs ride real nice, I just enjoy cruisin' around sometimes on my desk lol) after doing weeks of research and watching a lot of videos. In all honesty, after having the complete for about 2 weeks now I have already fallen in love with skating again and must say I'm enjoying finger boarding more than I ever did real riding. The accessibility of it and the fact I can do it quite literally anywhere is just fantastic, hopefully with enough practice I can be as good as these guys at some point as all I'm good at now are slides and shuvits (amazing, I know). Thanks for making these kinds of videos, and for showing all other kinds of hobbies and talents, really interesting and also inspiring stuff!

Amazing editing. Easily the best finger boarding video I've seen with that slight touch of slow-mo during the flip tricks. It's even in sync with the music at a lot of points.
I love it when they do tricks that are impossible on skateboards, fingerboarding is truly its own thing. It would be great if more people stopped trying to imitate another.
All it takes is practice patience passion and this stuff counts with handboarding

@@ceoofme2771 I'm in my 40's and I just got into fingerboarding. Living along during Pandemic got me interested. I skated in the 1980's and 90's but I sucked. I could rollerblade and ice skate but skateboarding just was trash at. Fingerboarding gives me an escape inside where I can practice and keep busy away from the tv screen since I don't like tv much in first place.
Skateboarding, fingerboarding, handboarding, are all friends.
The problem with fingerboarding, is that unless it's in slow motion, it doesn't look a single bit impressive. The slow motion parts looked awesome, but any time it sped up to normal speed, it looked kinda...eh. It looked like he just flung it and got lucky. The slow motion parts show that it's a bit more precise than that, but you wouldn't know it at normal speed.

As a fingerboarder, you notice. You don't just flip randomly. Like, you can slow down your kickflips, you just gotta make the board go higher.
Matthew Kearley Well yeah, but I mean as far as just someone watching it. I'm sure if you actually do it, you notice a lot of things. But for me, as someone that doesn't do anything fingerboard related, it looks WAY better in slow motion.
Junior Barrios Wow people. I said it LOOKS like it in normal speed. Maybe not to you, but to me it does, that's how things work. In slow motion, I can tell what's going on. Normal speed, it looks like it's flung, and lucky if the person lands it or not.

The real thing, it's kind of hard mastering fingerboarding, but trying to skateboard like a pro, takes years. This just takes about months if u want to learn some cool tricks.
