yep got the same issue here, I went through so many search results with complicated instructions, none worked or were compatible with my situation, before randomly finding this video right after reworking my search keywords lol I struggled a bit to make sure to get the right firmware, which is not available on hp site anymore, but it worked like a charm. Thank you for the help! Our work usb flash failed after so many years(created before my time lol) and needed to rush some units out. Hardest part was me having to look for the original files lol
Tips: before update bios make sure download from a right website and link. Make sure the name and version motherboard is same , motherboard version normally at bottom left corner .
There was no dos flash for me. Also I didn't have to select any drives. I just put the flash in and the HP logo came on and everything was back to normal
hello bro, On my HP 6560b, I'm creating a USB to reinstall the BISO, but, this message keeps coming up,"HPQ Flash Wizard Required HP UEFI BIOS Update utilities are not available in destination folder, unable to continue", is this common, how to I get it to install to the USB
No, you have to press a function key while you boot the PC to see that menu, I can't remember which one it is (F9 I think) but if you watch the screen very carefully when you power up the PC you should see options at the bottom of screen, one of which is Boot Menu. You have to be quick before it times out and the boot process starts normally.
Is this a option, if my bios is corrupted because of bad installation? I can't access my bios screen, it's pretty much a black screen and nothing more..
my Dell precision t1700 Bios been corrupted and is unreadable(failure to POST) i tried to load a O.S with a flash drive and while switching to uefi safe move and restarting my computer no longer post. clearing cmos ,drain of power ,checking all ports monitors and cords dident fix the issue Computer was maybe interrupted during load(Cant remember but most likely).any help to fix my BIOS. i Might need a Flash.Anyone with experience with this??
I don't know why they try to update bios like this but my computer got problem. ít's restart itself again again and again after booting to windows every 30 minutes. Try to remove every hardware to find solutions but not. The last thing I've ever tried to, here is it.
