YES shihtzus are the BEST!!! People who don’t have a shihtzu in their lives have no clue what your missing out on! They are the cutest, sweetest, loving, playful, full of life, they are an amazing breed and so worth the money! 😍😍👌🏼🤑👍🏼they will change your life!

Katie Rohrbough a friend of mine has 11 😆 I have 3 Tito Micha and baby SHI SHI and we have a litter of abides at least once a year 💖. My opinion is that if you have ore than one the another never makes a difference it’s just extr poop to clean up and more food to feed 🤷♀️

tg tg if you ave a shih tzu in full coat you must brush espresso and after the bath and during the dry. If you don’t rush before the bath you can’t get them clean.x

Um detalhe passou despercebido. Aos 4min e 30s. um rapaz ou uma moça, passa ao fundo todo protegido do frio e o caozinho sendo tosado praticamente todo. Aqui no Brasil as pessoas pedem pra tosar todo por causa do calor, vendo pelo video fico na duvida se os pêlos e subpêlos, realmente, sao "isolantes termicos".

I feel weird for replying to this because you commented 5 months ago, but I highly suggest using a slicker brush AND a comb because combs can catch the tangles that the brush cannot. In addition to those 2 tools, I would also purchase a mat picker (definitely watch a video on how to use it before trying it on your own) and as for the stinky face I would get a dry shampoo (Stazko has a really nice smelling one) and spray it on a damp wash cloth and wipe his face with it about once a week, or as often as needed. Hope this helps!

Long is beautiful when maintained, and requires a lot of regular brushing, and many are not willing or able to do that. I see some in my shop that are long and matted to the skin. My hat off to you for taking the time to keep Daisy brushed. It is a good bonding experience, too.

I have two shih tzu, I've always groomed my own king Charles but I end up chasing them around and they're off at the sight of a pair of scissors. Thank the Lord I found a lovely lady who is a groomer and they behave for her.

I give mine a bath every Saturday. And trim everything up once a month.... That way she always looks pretty, plus they feel better.

My mom only gets her daisy dog mix groomed very short in the hot summer. Only a little trim in the winter.
Natalie Kelber trimming a shih tzu short in the summer actually makes the hotter, their coat is made to be one for a reason it keeps the insulated in the winter and reflects the sun in the summertime. The less coat the dog has the hotter it will get it will also get sunburn if it’s a light dog
I have so much respect for groomers. I have a Shih tzu and I have no idea how they get him to sit still for this!

Pablo Clavo depends on the length. Anything over 3/4-1/2 of an inch should be in the salon every 4-5 weeks. If your dog is short with just a little fuzz or shorter, every 8 weeks is fine!

I have a four year old, I live in the woods. But I never cut her hair that short. I give her a bath every Saturday and trim her once a month. Comb everyday, clean her eyes every morning and shes ready for the day. I did not like the cut I just saw.
