The reactions at the beginning of this video actually got me right in the feels!
I will miss this parade very much! I will still play the parade soundtrack during our long drives to "the world".
The last time I got to see this parade was in April. I grew up seeing this parade at WDW, and I'm just not ready to say goodbye to it! 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just saw the new one.......it is good, although different from this in a lot of ways. There are videos of it here.

Good thing I wasn't there. I would have been bawling, hanging on to the last patriotic float, screaming 'NOOOO! You CAN"T LEAVE! I'm not ready for this to end!!!' Poor CMs would have to drag me away, kicking and screaming like a toddler. :'(
Tbh they might actually take it easy on you and bring it back for a year more or so

I was there for this final glow. Anyone who has been a performer before knows that rush of emotion that comes with a final curtain call. Thank you for this video. I get emotional every time.

The very last time I saw this parade in person was on the parades 44th anniversary 6/17/2016 from the hub (btw I witnessed 2 of 5 proposals that same day) the castle provided a perfect background for the parade (& the proposals) This parade is an inspiration to us all 44 years & still glowing. Now there finally going home for the first time in 20 years right on Main Street.

hard to believe this was the final performance for Pinocchio's float (damaged in transit back to CA. it had a good 31 year run in the parade though having been to 4 parks

This is the only Disney Parade that has brought me to tears. It was my first parade I saw in the parks and the score is engraved in my mind. My absolute favorite nighttime parade!! My favorite float had to be Elliot and Pete. They could make the dragon disappear and reappear in an instant, real Disney magic there
I felt the same way with this when I first saw it when I was 6. My favorite section was Cinderella. I watched that movie religiously when I was a kid
I saw this parade was back in 1972 and again in 1992 when I took my children to it. I've always loved it!! The music is always my "happy dance" music!! What a wonderful production. It will surely be missed greatly!!
One of the highlights of going to disney world back in late 2009/2010. Sad to see its gone now. I havent been to Disneyworld in almost a decade but I'm going to Disneyland next month for first time
I was lucky enough to see this parade when I was a kid and then with my kids, so much fun with the lights and sounds. Will always be in my heart.

SpectroMagic deserved a proper goodbye like this. It's a shame. I still love MSEP, it's great but now WDW should do something new to do Spectro justice.

from every video I've seen, not just of the final parade, people seem to get way more into this at WDW than they do at Disneyland! I saw it in Anaheim a few weeks ago and maybe it was just a dead night

There's a new Electrical Parade that Magic Kingdom never had or heard of before. Disneyland had it right after THEIR (can't to italics) Main Street Electrical Parade. The new Electrical Parade is called Paint the Night.

I swear to God once I didn’t see the train float and Mickey, Minnie and Goofy were standing on the America float.
Some things are tradition and should never be removed. This was one of them. ='(

I went and watched this parade in 2015 I'm going again in 13 days I was looking forward to this I'm sad its over.....but the songs a little annoying

My friend works at Disney. Apparently this whole move is just a temporary loan while they do maintenance on Paint the Night. It'll be back to Florida by the beginning of the summer.

Kelly Morris we aren't getting Paint the Night, and there won't be a parade for a while. Our only nighttime entertainment will be Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. I'm going back in February, and this was always one of the things that my family and I did. Definitely devastated to see it leave. 😭😭

Why don't they just make the parade for both parks? This was my favorite thing about WDW.
They did have two Main Street Electrical parades, Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Disney Worlds went to France and was replaced by Spectromagic. Some years later, Disneylands parade came her for overhaul in Central Shops and played here a season or two, then went to back to Disney's California Adventure. Eventually came back here and played until this past Oct. Will play in Disneyland starting Jan 20, 2017 and I guess retire before summer 2017, unless they decide to extend it.
