Armstrong is a case, knowing people around us with such level of ambition is scary. He cannot be destroyed. And having his mindset (not saying his character) will make you better person
Funny comments! They knew Lance was using because all of them are on drugs. They ans we knew it. And what if Armstrong(and his team) despite using drugs, had not won a single tour de france???? And if those other TDF cyclists are really honest and clean, why did they not present themselves to the authorities as a wsy to expose doping as a whole. Knock! Knock!
While most of them were probably on drugs Armstrong is the one that I really do not like. He took anyone who claimed he was doping (when he actually was) to court. He mostly won and claimed large amounts of damages by lying his head off. I bet he didn't repay a cent to those he cheated.
I never felt so strong and invincible as when I was on drugs...then I got arrested, charged, convicted and sentenced. Now, if I had just entered a bike race while on drugs I could have avoided all the legal costs and jail time. Live and learn.
Wow. Good to know you have it figured out bro. Read "Ordinary Men" and get back to me about how you still don't get that anything someone does, you are capable of too
@@SpiritualStuntman Hey Matt. My comment was 100% sarcastic. Lance didn't just cheat and lie repeatedly, he also used his wealth, connections and influence to attempt to ruin the livelihoods of those who opposed him or threatened to expose him. My comment was meant to illustrate the protection he enjoyed as a highly paid professional athlete, even though many in his circle knew the truth. I looked up the book you suggested. Very interesting. May I ask why you thought I would benefit from reading it?
GOAT, nobody has dominated the tour like he did.
Around 5:50 into the clip Phil Ligget says, "this is unthinkable." I was still a believer at this point.

That Slip Caused Lance… The Time Trial
Funny looking back compared to 2022. Terrible 'aero' positions by comparison.
Lance was the best …beast.
