Did you have to buy your own nut to install the positive cable to the battery? My truck just has bolt sticking upward, no nut to land my positive cable onto.
So if I run a wire from the ACC plug on the Auxbeam fuse box to the blue wire in the passenger footwell, I can turn on the Auxbeam switch panel with my built-in aux switch. Is that right?
@@mvorn44 yes. And an easy way to make it happen is to use a relay. Nilight 50023R 5 Pack 30A Fuse... www.amazon.com/dp/B07PK7F1MC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share So you’d take your wire that goes to the add a fuse and connect it to this relay and connect the other 3 and it should work. I’m fixing on making a video for it soon here.
How come you didn’t install the power wire to the distribution box so if you have to change the battery you won’t have to change that wire? Just a question.
good job
That Badland Industries mount looks like a a perfect solution, super clean install! I'll do the same in my ZR2 at some point.
@@live4mac makes it look clean.
I just installed this on my ZR2 (auxbeam switch panel and exact same mount) on Friday. Its a great set up for the ZR2.
@@kalijo1 yes it is. Much better than using double sided tape

@@Coyotezr2thanks! Weird it didn’t come with on but you just saved me a few trips to the hardware store 😂

@@kritonman1 cause aux beams instructions are to mount straight to battery.
@@Coyotezr2 i think when i install mine I’ll go to the distribution box. I’m going to probably run the winch straight to the battery.
