LOVE my 2024. I got it fully loaded w/power moonroof in the blue color March 16th. It's been to Moab twice for 5 full days wheeling total, and another 1/2 day in CO. Just got back from a 3,700 mile trip up to Glacier Nat'l Park and back, with that last 1-1/2 days wheeling in Moab. I'm a noob at offroading something with this kind of capability, and man, this thing just feels unstoppable! So far, just a weird check engine light (knock sensor 2) at 400 miles that turned out to be nothing and never came back, some minor random adaptive cruise control glitches on my trip to Glacier (shutting off for no reason) and a bad tire pressure monitor in the left rear tire at 4,000 miles. Other than that, no issues and plenty of power. Fuel mileage could be better (dunno how Toyota gets 20+!), but decent for what it is (I got 17.3mpg average on the entire Glacier trip including 85mph into massive headwinds (of course) in WY and 10mpg while wheeling. Normally I get about 18-18.5 combined.

@@mavrikmavrik3032 just confident. lol the first time I put it back together I had a check engine light and volume knob didn’t work. Then I reset all the cables and it all worked fine.
You can also just go to the music app from the home screen, and in the top right is a little gear shortcut straight to sound settings.
@coyotezr2 did your CCE brackets pushed the winshield seal down on the passenger side?

@@Coyotezr2 I figure... mine did and I read almost everyone has the same issue. I decided to not install lights and bracket to avoid damage to the windshield.

Lol don't buy it for 25$ I got a whole roll of the same wrap and just trimmed it myself the wrap was 10$ for 5 feet

I asked my sales rep about doing this and he said it probably voids the warranty if found out.
Any mod you do to your stock truck will void a warranty if they determine that mod caused the issues even lift kits, bigger tires, etc. I’m building my truck to my liking. Next big thing will be drilling holes in the roof for my prinsu rack.
I just ordered my breather tube and clamps. Is there a front diff breather? Where did you run that tube?

This may be a dumb question, but why not tap into the fuse block that you are passing on the way to the engine bay. Don't they have aux or extra locations?
@@WayneGoodenOutdoors you could probably go that route. I just followed what victory 4x4 recommended for instructions.

How come you didn’t install the power wire to the distribution box so if you have to change the battery you won’t have to change that wire? Just a question.
@@kritonman1 cause aux beams instructions are to mount straight to battery.
@@Coyotezr2 i think when i install mine I’ll go to the distribution box. I’m going to probably run the winch straight to the battery.
I ended up turning the speaker in the radio off and just using the one in the mic.
@@angelowelti7774 I will probably do the same. But it was nice knowing i could still hear it clearly. The audio from the speaker doesn’t do justices with how loud it actually is.
Great video glad I subscribe more people should too! I’m still waiting for my 2024 ZR2 Colorado it’s been in transit for a month now! Mine is white! I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma off-road right now which I bought new in 2017! Love my Tacoma but not too crazy about the 2024 ones! Time for a change!!

New subscriber. Great content ZR2 brother. Traded my 2018 ZR2 (loved that truck) for the new 2024 ZR2 (love it even more). Fricken thing has everything.... 2 questions... What is the knob on the display screen? Mine does not have that. Q2, What is the AUX option within the display screen. I just haven't researched it. I was thinking it replaced the need for an accessory fuse box?
@@frick-n-frack4191 so the that knob is my volume knob? And the aux switch at the bottom is for if equipped a relay box that is good for one thing and one thing only. I don’t recommend bothering with it to be honest. If you plan on getting lights and stuff just get a auxbeam switch panel.

Did you have to buy your own nut to install the positive cable to the battery? My truck just has bolt sticking upward, no nut to land my positive cable onto.

@@jimverw5863 no I did not. I never took off the upper control arm completely. Truck drives great still. But I have a bigger lift coming soon so I’ll do it then. If your just doing the spacer and your done then I’d get an alignment

thanks my guy. I was hoping to be done with running cables to the engine bay. But picked up a midland radio that i want full time power to as well and need to run that and a wire for the ghost antenna. lol

My 2024 Colorado ZR2 has the charging surface, came off the same way, no issues. I sprayed Invisible glass cleaner over the console after cleaning, helped with install. Thx!

I went with victory just for full time power. And that they include the usb with the mount. One stop shop. Just had to get a few things off Amazon. But I can charge my phone and cameras even when the truck is off so that’s a win in my book.
