- One of our Safer Neighbourhood officers in Rose Hill, Derby has released some CCTV and asked for the public’s help in tracing a man.
The footage has been released after a mobile phone was stolen from a car that was parked on Normanton Road.
The incident happened back on Friday, July 14 and despite the officer’s efforts, she has been unable to trace the man who she wishes to speak to about the offence. She is now asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in the footage.
PC Gemma Perry, who is investigating the theft, said: “The phone was stolen from the front of the car whilst it was parked up with passengers in the rear seat. It appears to be an opportunistic theft.
“Despite my enquiries so far I have not been able to trace the man in the images and so I am now asking for help from the public. The images are very clear and so I would ask that if there is anyone that knows the man that they make contact with me.”
If you think you can help Gemma please call on 101 quoting reference number 17000302740. Alternatively send her a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website: www.derbyshire.police.uk/Contact-Us.
