Premium and Performance Pack are two different things that can be optioned separately. PP gives you the Brembos, suspension upgrades, and 3.73 rear end (manual transmission). Premium is either the 400A package (upgraded seats, bigger screen, toggle switches, etc.) or 401A (adds digital dash and other stuff). Non PP cars either have 3.15 or 3.55 rear ends. Gear ratios could make a difference in races depending on what speed/gear they're starting at.
The real reason is the weight because when I race just even have about 150 more weight will make your car about 1 car length slower. Me and my buddy tested it out. And his passenger was skinny and it totaled weight was probably over 200 pounds lighter and that Makes a difference 100% even the pros say 100 pounds in 0.10 faster
Great video and you should try to get a 2021 mustang vs the black one. Because the 2020 has the 3:55 gears and the 2021 gas 3:15 gears and the 3:15 gears are suppose to be faster
Those are unbranded 4-piston Brembos on the front of the Base GT Also, all drive modes are on base GTs Mustang/Regular (start up) Sport+ (press traction once) Track Mode (press traction twice) Drag Mode (hold traction button 5sec) Wet/Ice Mode (press traction 3 times)
The 14 inch disc 4 piston calipers on the new base models are about the same as the s197 brembos like track pack 5.0s, boss and gt500s. The performance pack has 6 piston 15 inch rotors which are like 13-14 gt500 brakes.
Don’t need to use paddle shifters to upshift just leave it on drive and downshift to right gear and it’ll shift on its own . Probably shifting too early
You Need to check and see if one of you have the 373's over the 355's??? The 355's will do better up top and especially from a 60 roll... But from a dig and in a quarter mile the 373's are going to rip the 355's badly "with an Manual in Both cars" but with these 10 speeds who know's.. I am just Glad I got the 373's Manual PP..

I would love to know what he paid out the door with Tax and Tags because a lot of people leave that part out of it and don't even realize just how much the Dealer is ripping you on DOC Fee's and all the other BS they hit you with.. My car has 3.55 gears, was in sport mode the whole time, started in 4th gear all races

You’re suppose to shift down to the gear you want in S and then once you are there and hit it put it in D. Not just S then D.
The parfomace pack has 3.55 the black car has 3.15 a little better top end . Neither guys knows anything really about their cars or knows how to race!
I think you just need a driver mod.
Pp1 should of been in drag mode not sport…

For the record the PP1 weighs about 170lbs more than the base GT.
That was all drive. Nothing to do with performance model or base model
