big time flop! I have owned 10 mustangs in the past 20 years and the S650 has been by far the worst mustang (aesthetics wise) in the past 20 years! ford had got incredible lazy! the GT350 is supposed to be unique to the GT, not just a modified GT.

If they put a voodoo in the new Gt350 then maybe it might be worth the money but I would absolutely buy a 2020 gt350R slap on a whipple or even a procharger and I’ll save 40 grand or so vs the new 350

Another S650 flop

The intrinsic value of the car is laughable. It is a GT that this business built and shamelessly slapped the Shelby logo on it to make money. What does this do to the Shelby name and legacy and what would the guy think? I'm glad people are talking about this and helping people understand what a terrible proposition this is. This car is just packaging and marketing exploitation at it's worst.

They could have put the 5.2 Predator naturally aspirated or with whipple and they would not have received a quarter of the negativity. But no they think people are stupid, because they are.

I just can’t imagine paying over 50k for a GT. It’s just insane. But at the same time, I try and avoid car payments like the plague.

Not sure why it's cool to smoke fentanyl and live in an RV on the sidewalk but can't tune your car in 20025 in America (at least where I live on the West Coast). I guess the EPA doesn't care about that. I don't understand why manufacturers are so secrative about the situation with tuning and flex fuel. Why not just be honest about what is going on and why they do what they do? I just want to run the fuel of choice and tune my private automobile.

I can't stand how the s650 looks. However, with grabber blue, it doesn't look terrible. I'm kinda surprised I'm saying that.

I would love to see tuning unlocked. Then let’s revisit the conversation at the end of 25. I really believe sales are going to be lower this year. Just looked at a 25 Mustang Gt Premium. No performance package, magride, or active exhaust. It was even a manual, $60,500.

Ford doesn't want people to forget that they have a GTD.. that nobody can afford.. so they won't unlock the tune until that vehicle comes out.. I have a 650 with a Whipple thinking about going trading it in for a Z06 with a carbon pack if Ford doesn't get their act together..

Its the price. Ur well off so may not notice that part. They’ll get unlocked eventually. Mustang used to be the working man’s muscle car. Its become more of a sports car trying to compete with bmw M cars now.

Dude the s650 is butt ugly and you can buy an extremely low mileage, fully loaded s550 with pp2 and whatever mods you want already on it because they're for sale everywhere, for thousands cheaper than a base model s650 and the s550 is actually tunable. I won't ever buy an s650. They're hideous.

I agree about the guages.I can't really compare the digital display with other cars I've driven at any point in the acceleration range.At least you get a proper handbrake with the new Mustang and in Australia at least we got the blinker on the right hand side unlike any of the German cars.People couldn't even bothered using the blinker in those around here.

Ford is purposely sabotaging their sales to consumers from mainly ( non tuning ) issue ! and higher price tag secondary every single year.

As a mustang and f150 guy for the past 25 years, Ford lost me when they went woke.

Ford also needs to get rid of the Tesla screens.

If Ford don’t make changes in there prices and unlock the PC the Mustang will get discontinued because people are tired of paying high prices and not being able to do custom tunes, and as bad as I love the Mustang I think maybe that’s what it will take before Ford changes there marketing

I am following your videos you producing from Sydney Australia. I went to check out the new Mustang S650 and to my surprise they are so expensive is unbelievable. And keep in mind also, that's $71,000 before tax and registration fees etc... if you are taking a loan for that tax-in total, could be another 5-7% interest rate on top of that. The problem is the technology. I am not interested massive screens on a V8 manual sports car, and when you bundle that into the price, it gets overly expensive for a product that is supposed to appeal to the budget sportscar enthusiast. You know those screens are going to have all kinds of issues in 5-10 years, and they won't hold their value for a minute. The value is going to massively depreciate. You can replace the Sync1's, and even the Sync3's with after market stereos and modules to maintain the controls, but the entire tech system is built into the platform. Once the parts stop being made, this whole concept is dead. They should really branch the Mustang platform off into Lincoln and bring back the classic 2 door Mark series, with the Coyote V8, but prioritize size, ride comfort, and technology. The Mustang should have the same interior as the Bronco sport. Sync3 system from 7 years ago, climate control and stereo buttons, a transmission and some drive modes. Premium package is optional. Cut back the cost right there.

Ford is single handily turning it's customer base into BMW owners. When you can buy an M4 for the same price as a Mustang GT you're outkicking your coverage.
