    Awesome piece of machinery Mak worth every penny, plus more filled air tanks means more gun videos lol :)

    The gauge displays a outer perimeter marking of 10, 20 etc. what is this outer numerical notations for?Also. In the video it is confusing as filling the tank. Is there another video as to filling a 75 size tank from the Omega Super Charger without the added on moisture eliminating upgrade.

      Still need a reply as to what the outer gage markings are.

    It's been about 4 years since tou got your Omega compressor. I was hoping you could give an update on how the Omega has been? Are you still using it? Any problems with the compressor?

    Hey Mak @ 3:28 mark is that paper or white grease? If it's paper I suggest you take that white paper out of the way before it might clog it up or something actually I suggest you get like a paper towel or something and put it in the hole and use a razor blade and take all that paper sticker off

  • @Joe-lo9kp

    I don't understand what the gauge markings are showing/measuring. The inner gauge marking it appears to show the PSI setting. What is the outer marking being 10,20 etc showing? I have replied on this before debut didn't get a reply as to what the outer gauge numbers are all about.

  • @Joe-rz5qc
    @Joe-rz5qc 7 лет назад

    I'm confused as to the main meter having numerous measuring points. Can you provide a explanation as to how to precisely set the meter?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  7 лет назад

      you just count the lower pressure as the stop mark, the other one is the insurance , just in case one failed, you won't go crazy and explode lol

  • @Joe-lo9kp
    @Joe-lo9kp 7 лет назад

    I I appears that there is two models of this compressor in that the switches are either to the right of the Gauge or beneath the gauge. What is the difference? Is one a older model. Is the model with the gree plastic lubrication extension a New or old model? A reply would be much appreciated.

    Enjoyed the video and bought the Omega super charger because of your review! But you are doing the grease wrong, you don't screw it in you leave it out then turn in every 20 hrs or so. Watch Airguns of Ariz. video..

  • @johnniedlee

    Cool video. Do you know how long it takes to fill a 68/4500 paintball tank? Also, I've noticed in other videos that you have the Diablo Air System Filter. Is it necessary to have if I am filling mostly paintball tanks and scubas?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  9 лет назад

      johnniedeelee you dont need the filter to get it working, and it if just the machine without filter, it will fill a 68ci in about 30mins or so if from empty to full 3k psi.

    hey man, i havent had a paintball gun for awhile but when i did they used co2, but i just got a tippman a5 and found out that you could use HPA instead of Co2. I have mechanic friends who have big compressors. I was looking at a 3000psi Gorilla tank in the UK as they are the only HPA tanks i can find at about 44quid cheapest i can find and u get about 800 shots. is it pretty much as simple as buying the tank an adapter for it and connecting it to the compressor. I was always used to taking it to specialist Co2 places or paintball shops, which Co2 is alot harder to find than HPA. I also heard you get more shots HPA and the cold you get from Co2 can damage the guns.

    • @mikenolan1889
      @mikenolan1889 9 лет назад

      +crack head oh yeah does your tank have a regulator that you purchase separately that fits in between gun and tank or does that come with the bottle as one unit? i think i was looking at the next tank up the 48/3000. As there are no shops about its difficult seeing what you get on the internet.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  9 лет назад

      +crack head where did you get your info from? That is not true. First of all, HPA and Co2 are both okay on the A5, but you cannot get 800 shots out of a small 13ci tank, which should be the cheapest tank you mentioned. No way you can get 800 shots out of that tank. Max is like 150 shots at MOST but it is likely going to be less. Also, HPA tanks must be filled by a high pressure compress or a pcp handpump. Your mechanic friend has a compressor that can fill up to 5000psi and above? You also do not need any adapter for the hpa tank. Just screw it on the gun like how you do with Co2. Same thread, same thing, just screw it in. If say the same tank size, Co2 tank will give you more shots than HPA - but Coi2 also freeze up fast on rapid fire, and then pressure drops very fast and your shot is not consistent in power all the time. HPA will not have problems with consistency, they are going to give you the best performance at all time and won't drop pressure like crazy. HPA gives you stable performance, but sometimes, for some purpose, co2 will do better. It really depends what you are aiming for or what your gun is used for. If for paintball GAME use, then use HPA for sure, that is no doubt a much better choice.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  9 лет назад

      +crack head ALL paintball tank should have a regulator installed that is set to approximately 850psi output pressure. Unless you buy just the tank body and no head, which is very weird and no one sell tanks like that unless it is for repair parts. Your 48/3000 just means 48ci and 3000psi full fill pressure. That is likely an aluminum tank. Carbon fiber can fill up to 4500psi for more air to use, but usually they don't make carbon fiber tank that small. 48ci is very big too, don't get it wrong. 48ci is very heavy on the gun... For most of my guns, I only like a 13ci on the gun with tank in stock option. Set the tank to rear and install a stock on it then no more tank-under-grip bullshit. Those are way too clumsy and ugly.

    • @mikenolan1889
      @mikenolan1889 9 лет назад

      +Chiinnature yeh i seen the regulator isnt required now apparently it increases performance though. it was 48ci /3000psi tank i was looking at. i just read a post somewhere someone said the cold may damage the gun from co2 and i know if you reach extreme colds with metal it can become weaker then say at a normal room temperatures, more brittle. I thought possibly over a long period of time the gun may be damaged sooner from using Co2 to hpa. im not sure with the Co2 if it gets cold enough to weaken metal like nitrogen might, does one or the other work better at higher velocities? and what was that adapter called for connecting the gorilla bottle to compressor? thanks alot quite helpful

    • @mikenolan1889
      @mikenolan1889 9 лет назад

      +Chiinnature maybe on a hot day the Co2 will work better than a cold day why you see a difference in performance with Co2. didnt realize the tank had a compressor fitment on the side across from the gauge ^^

    I have asked this question many times but no one ever gives me a reply. I have an Omega Supercharger that has the two red and one green switch in a Horizontal position below the big dial rather than the switches being in a Vertical placement of the same switches to the Right side of the dial. What gives what is the difference. My machine also has the single green tube where the lubrication turn knob is.
    I have tried to get a answer from Airguns of Arizona and even tried to get a reply from the Omega Supercharger but no one has a answer.
    Airguns of Arizona insists they have never had a Supercharger with the Horizontal Switches which is really amazing for them to say. I plan on sending them a photo and they can see my Omega Supercharger that they sold me with the switches in a Horizontal placement. Might you have answer for me as to different layout of the switches. Maybe you can provide me with the guy at Rapter that is a repair guy for the Supercharger. I have a friend that is interested in buying my Supercharger and I would buy a TURBO Supercharger. He like me wants to know why the two Superchargers have the different layout of the switches. Maybe I have a upgraded model or maybe I have a older model. I can be reached at pooterjoe@rockisland.com

    Great video. I can pump up my 13 CI Ninja 3000 psi tank faster with my Hill Pump by hand than your Omega Compressor. Just kidding, That is a fantastic new toy, best of luck with it and I look forward to your future reviews of this fantastic device.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  10 лет назад

      BRR Will I have a G4 and a Benj pump and my student also got a hill pump, and we all cannot pump faster than this. LOL! Oh right, you can, but you need to hire Mr. Hulk over and also we need "Speedman" to come and take shift, plus your pump might MELT after the tank is full, LOL!!! Ya man, this thing saved my life! Gosh I broke 2 pumps already from pumping too much! G4 and Benj are dead, the pump handle keep raising after you press it down, can't seal air much when pressure builds up, can't fix them too.. any idea?

    •  10 лет назад

      Chiinnature Mak, thanks for writing back. Actually these hand PCP pumps are actually easy to repair. The most common problem is the O rings fail due to overheating. When pumping, these pumps get quite hot and require time to cool off. My Air Force pump (made by Benjamin) failed and I took it apart and replaced O rings. Also keep lubricated with silicone grease. The Hill Pump is the best one as it is easily rebuild able if required and it has an air dryer built in. Your new Omega compressor is a fantastic unit. Best of luck with it.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  10 лет назад

      BRR Thanks! Do you know how to fix the benj pump then? I am sure it's an easy fix if just an o-ring replacement, but finding the oring that match is hard too! I don't have much orings around and can't match the proper one. They don't sell any Benj repair kit too right? Silicone grease - I got some here and ordered a can of it from PA site too, the one they sell for HILL pump.... I sent in my G4 for repair and hope the airgunsource guys can fix it! I love my compressor, but also would love a pump around. You know the feeling, when you are out of electricity one day, you love something that give you the feeling you can pump up your guns in case of anything. LOL! Doomsday prepper style

    •  10 лет назад

      Chiinnature Mak, on RUclips there are several videos on how to take apart and repair these hand PCP pumps. Most repairs are just O ring replacement and lubrication using silicone grease. On my Air Force pump I could not push down the handle even with all my body weight on it. I found that the relief valve was frozen and after unscrewing it all the air trapped in the tube escaped. I replaced one O ring and lubed it and it worked good again. Once you see how to take the pump apart, it is easy to fix them. I agree with you, it is always good to have a hand pump in case the electric goes out. These PCP hand pumps give you a good upper body work out! LOL.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  10 лет назад

      BRR hahahaha! Thanks! I just saw the Sun's optic's site and will try to fix mine soon or later, but just need to know WHICH o-ring or what o-ring to get! Time to shop around! I know Alliance Hobby have some kits, let me think about that...

    You are using the grease fitting wrong. You are not supposed to put the grease in and then tightin down the the bolt all the way. You are supposed to give it two turns every 20 hours. That is way it has so many threads. You are giving it all that grease all at once. Not good for the machine.

    • @Joe-lo9kp
      @Joe-lo9kp 7 лет назад

      Right on George. Air Guns Of Arizona advised to turn it two turns to the right every three or four hours of use. Once it is turned all the way down unscrew it up all the way to my the left and put in grease.

    1700 dollars for that??? Hell no. If you already have a 200 dollar shop compressor, you can get the shoebox compressor for 650 and use that set up for 850 or less. 1700 no thanks. And to be clear, the shoebox compressor does go up to 4500 psi.

    • @Joe-lo9kp
      @Joe-lo9kp 7 лет назад

      The shoe box needs to run for ever. The Omega is much more better quality and much more proficient. You do have to pay more for a much better product.

    I appreciate your videos but you are giving wrong information on dealing with the Grease Knob.
    The knob button is to be in the position of being turned about completely counter clockwise
    and grease should be filled in. You turn the Grease Knob two complete turns clockwlse every couple hours of use. Also are you familiar with the Fill line that came with the Omega 75CF Omega Carbon Fiber tank. Do you leave it in place when filling the tank from the compressor? What is your procedure for filling the Omega Carbon Fiber Tank from he Supercharger? Do you remove the fill line that came with the Tank and utilize the fill line that came with the compressor. Your reply would be much appreciated and I can be emailed at pooterjoe@rockisland.com.

    • @jcaputo3156
      @jcaputo3156 5 лет назад

      My Correction: Grease knob should be turned completely off and grease should be filled in. The grease knob is turned two complete urn clockwise every wo hour of compressor use.

      I have a benj pump and still using it last week, not like I don't like pump. The compressor, however.. was dead, I just trashed it this year. Hate to be a big repairman of it all the time, the thing is not built to last. At least I would say too annoying to repair it ALL THE TIME.
